摘要: A roller shade mounting element includes a mount portion configured to couple to a support surface and a bracket portion configured to support a roller window shade assembly. The bracket portion includes a first end and a second end substantially opposite the first end, a first surface at the first end configured to bear against the support surface, a second surface between the first end and the second end where the second surface is configured to extend adjacent an end of the roller window shade assembly, and a member coupled with the bracket portion. The member extends outward from the second surface, and the member is configured to engage and limit rotation of at least a portion of the roller window shade assembly. The combination of the bracket portion and the roller window shade assembly completely obscures at least a portion of the mount portion to an observer.

摘要: A shade bracket and support system includes a shade, a shade tube, at least two bracket assemblies, and a plurality of roller assemblies. The shade is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The shade tube is coupled to the shade and rotates in a first direction to retract the shade and a second direction to extend the shade. The bracket assemblies mount to a structure and support the shade tube and shade. The roller assemblies are provided between the bracket assemblies and support the shade and the shade tube along a longitudinal axis of the shade tube. At least one of the roller assemblies rotates in the same direction as the shade tube when the shade is being retracted or extended.

摘要: A bracket is configured to be coupled to a support surface and configured to support a roller window shade assembly. The bracket comprises a side configured to bear against the support surface such that the bracket extends away from the support surface and is adjacent an end of the roller window shade assembly. A passage extends through the bracket from the side to an area of the bracket adjacent the roller window shade assembly. The passage is configured to receive electrical wiring therethrough such that the electrical wiring can pass from the support surface to the roller window shade assembly to power a motor of the roller window shade assembly, and the bracket is configured to obscure the electrical wiring when the bracket is coupled to the support surface and supports the roller window shade assembly.

摘要: Aspects of the technology relate to propulsion systems for high altitude, long duration balloons, such as balloons that operate in the stratosphere for weeks, months or longer. A propeller assembly is used to provide lateral directional adjustments, which allows the balloon to spend more time over a desired region, reduce the return time to the desired region, reduce fleet overprovisioning, and increases the safety case by additional controls and avoidance abilities. A control assembly manages operation of the propeller assembly, including setting the pointing direction, speed of rotation and determining when to turn on the propeller and for how long. The propulsion system including the control and propeller assemblies is rotatable around a connection member of the balloon. Such rotation is independently adjustable from any rotation of the balloon's payload. The propeller blades may be made of plastic, which reduces weight and cost while providing sufficient speed at stratospheric altitudes.

摘要: A flexible cover plate with an airflow opening. A fan carried on a rear side of the cover plate over the airflow opening. A protective screen carried on a front side of the cover plate over the airflow opening. An angle bracket carried in an elongated slot disposed in said cover plate having a first portion extending parallel along the rear side of the cover plate, and a second portion extending transverse to the front side of the cover plate above the airflow opening. A flexible polymer foam sheet carried on the rear side of the cover plate for conforming to a vent opening in a building foundation wall so that an airtight seal is formed against the vent opening. A fan speed controller adjusting a desired speed of the fan and airflow through the airflow opening.

摘要: A stratospheric balloon may include an upper structure having a pulley, a lower structure, at least one solar panel suspended between the upper structure and the lower structure, and a first orientation control member connected, at a first end thereof, to a first transverse edge of the at least one solar panel and, at a second end thereof, to a second transverse edge of the at least one solar panel. The first orientation control member is wound about the pulley such that rotating the pulley changes the orientation of the at least one solar panel relative to the upper structure and the lower structure. In another example, the pulley may be replaced by first and second support mechanisms and the system may include a second orientation control member. The first and second orientation control members are connected to the first and second support mechanisms, respectively, and to the solar panel.

摘要: A movable platform adjacent to a stationary platform and operable between a raised position forming a part of a deck surface and a lowered position at least partially submerged in the body of water. A landing section and walkway section included in the movable platform. A lever arm carried by the landing section and extending underneath the walkway section, wherein the lever arm engages a bottom side of the walkway section when the movable platform is in the raised position, and the lever arm disengages from the walkway section when the movable platform is in the lowered position. A floatation unit disposed on the bottom side of the landing section. An air pump unit carried by the stationary platform, wherein the air pump unit channels air into and out of the floatation unit to change the buoyancy of the floatation unit to raise and lower the movable platform.
