摘要: An apparatus and method for manufacturing an elastic composite structure for an absorbent sanitary product includes a bonding unit configured to bond a first web layer to a second web layer via a bond pattern that includes at least one bond line having at least one pair of adjacent bonds. The bonding unit secures an elastic thread within a passage defined by the at least one pair of adjacent bonds. The passage has a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the elastic thread in a non-tensioned state.

摘要: A fin sealer and method to seal a radially outwardly directed fin of a tubular web structure by directing the fin through a nip between a first and a second fin sealing rollers while communicating heat to the fin through at least one of the fin sealing rollers is provided. The fin sealer is configured to maintain a nominal face-to-face relation between an outer annulus of the first fin sealing roller and an outer annulus of the second fin sealing roller with a flexible connection between a hub element of the second fin sealing roller with the outer annulus of the second fin sealing roller.

摘要: A system for forming a tendon sleeve on an atmospheric balloon is described herein, the system comprising a coupling assembly including a seam coupling mechanism that forms a seam joint between a first gore panel and a second gore panel, the seam joint is spaced from respective first and second lateral edges of the first and second gore panels to form first and second edge flanges, and an edge coupling mechanism that forms an edge joint between the first and second edge flanges and closes a tendon sleeve, the edge joint spaced from the seam joint, the tendon sleeve includes a tendon sleeve passage between the seam joint and the edge joint and between the first and second edge flanges. The system also includes a tendon positioning mechanism that positions a tendon within the tendon sleeve passage. A tendon sleeve formed by this system is also described herein.

摘要: An energy apparatus can be configured for providing energy to an item being transferred over a rotatable drum. The energy apparatus can include a first energy mechanism configured to be fixedly coupled to the rotatable drum and rotate with the rotatable drum. The energy apparatus can also include a second energy mechanism configured to rotate around a circumference of the rotatable drum. The energy apparatus can additionally include a translation system coupled to the second energy mechanism and configured to move the second energy mechanism to an end position that allows the second energy mechanism and the first energy mechanism to provide energy to the item while there is no relative motion between the first energy mechanism and the second energy mechanism. Methods of providing energy to an item utilizing an energy apparatus are also disclosed.

摘要: An interior/exterior covering member for an automobile having excellent sound-absorbing performance is provided. The interior/exterior covering member includes an air-permeable fiber layer 2 and a thermoplastic resin layer 3 laminated on one surface of the fiber layer 2. The melt flow rate of the thermoplastic resin is in a range of 2 g/10 min to 500 g/10 min, and a plurality of through-holes 11 penetrating the resin layer in the thickness direction is formed in the thermoplastic resin layer 3.

摘要: A film edge sealing device is disclosed herein which has a groove defining a base. The base of the groove of the edge sealing device is oriented at a skewed angle with respect to a longitudinal direction of the conveyor of the heat sealing machine. Edges of a thermoplastic sheet or two stacked layers of thermoplastic sheets are introduced into the groove of the edge sealing device and placed in contact therewith to both heat and melt the edges of the thermoplastic sheet(s) to form a bead and join the edges thereof to form an edge bead seal.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a laminated film and an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated film obtains a laminated film including a cured layer having a uniform thickness at the time of manufacturing a laminated film obtained by sandwiching the cured layer obtained by curing an actinic ray curable-type resin between two sheets of films. Steps include forming a coating film of a coating solution containing an actinic ray curable-type resin on the surface of a first film while continuously transporting the first film, laminating a second film on the coating film while continuously transporting the second film, and forming a cured layer of the coating film by irradiating the coating film with an actinic ray while continuously transporting the coating film by sandwiching the coating film between the first film and the second film, in a state where the first film is being wound around a backup roller.

The rotary support mechanical assembly includes a rotary member rotatable about the rotation axis, a plurality of sheet support members each having a support surface for supporting the sheet, and a mounting section for allowing the plurality of sheet support members to be attached to the rotary member in a state that the sheet support members lie on the same circumference about the rotation axis, and allowing attaching positions of the sheet support members to the rotary member to be adjusted in radial directions centered on the rotation axis.

摘要: A system and associated process for creating an extruded sheet having a decorative surface effect, such as plastic for example are presented. A roll of decorative plastic film for use in such system and process is also presented. Viscous materials are provided and fed through an extruder module and feed block to form a stream of viscous material. A die positioned downstream forms the stream of viscous material into a sheet of material and a calander having a set of rolls smoothes the sheet of material after it is released by the die. A film application assembly cooperates with the calander to apply a decorative plastic film to a surface of the sheet of material. The film application assembly includes a support structure for holding a roll of the decorative plastic film and a film feeding mechanism configured to direct the decorative plastic film to position a surface of the decorative plastic film opposite the surface of the sheet of material. The sheet of material to which the decorative plastic film has been applied is then directed towards an accumulation area. Sheets of extruded material having decorative surface effect may be created using such process/system and may be used in the manufacturing of many different products including for example kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, luges amongst many others. The process and system described here may be used alone, in combination with other processes and systems, for creating visually pleasing effects in extruded materials.

The table top welder handles and transports easily and can be mounted on a table or on another carrier structure in a disengageable manner.
