摘要: Provided are ARTS mimetic compounds that act as novel antagonists for XIAP and Bcl-2. Further, the novel ARTS mimetic compounds of the presently claimed subject matter induce apoptosis and/or differentiation in premalignant and malignant cells and thereby restore their normal-like phenotype. Further provided are compositions, methods and uses of said ARTS mimetic compounds in the treatment of cancer and premalignant conditions.

摘要: Provided are a fluorinated compound for patterning a metal or an electrode (cathode), an organic electronic element using the same, and an electronic device thereof, wherein a fine pattern of the electrode is formed by using the fluorinated compound as a material for patterning a metal or an electrode (cathode), without using a shadow mask, and it is possible to more easily apply UDC since it is easy to manufacture a transparent display having high light transmittance.

摘要: A slot milling sequence includes a plurality of material removal processes or operations. Each of the material removal operations includes utilization of an end mill tool. Some of the material removal operations utilize trochoidal tool paths, whereas other material removal processes utilize one or more profile cuts. Some material removal operations that utilize profile cuts remove material from both sides of the cut in a single pass, whereas other material removal operations remove material from one side of the cut via a first pass of the end mill tool and remove material from the opposing side of the cut via a second pass of the end mill tool.

摘要: Compositions comprising a neutral surfactant or a reaction product thereof and a reaction product of a saccharide polymer and a fatty acid may be obtained in the presence of water and a hydroxide base (optionally in the presence of the neutral surfactant), the saccharide polymer comprising a dextran, a dextrin compound, or any combination thereof. The reaction product of the saccharide polymer and the fatty acid may be present at a concentration effective to lower surface tension of the neutral surfactant. Depending on the fatty acid identity, among other factors, the compositions may promote emulsification or de-emulsification. In addition, the compositions may promote foam formation under appropriate conditions. Treatment fluids comprising the compositions, including foamed treatment fluids, may be introduced into a subterranean formation to perform a treatment operation in which fluid emulsification or de-emulsification may occur. The reaction products may be incorporated in soaps and other personal care products.

The device may include an elongated member with a central segment and first and second peripheral segments extending therefrom. These segments differ in their intended function and eventual in situ positioning: the two peripheral segments intended for insertion and positioning within the two cavities and exerting their function within the cavities. The central segment serves as a link between two peripheral segments and may also be used for some other functions by its position. The elongated member may have elastic properties.
