    Abstract: In a liquid crystal display panel, a pixel electrode includes at least a main electrode strip and a plurality of sub electrode branches. The sub electrode branches extend outwardly from two opposite edges of the main electrode strip. The main electrode strip includes at least a node-controlling portion, the controlling width of the node-controlling portion are different from a trunk width of the main electrode strip. Otherwise, a plurality of first sub electrode branches and a plurality of second sub electrode branches are extend outwardly from two opposite edges of the main electrode strip respectively. Relating to the position of the first sub electrode branches, the second sub electrode branches has a position-shift amount along the extending direction of the main electrode strip. The position-shift amount is smaller than the branch width of the first or second sub electrode branch.

    Abstract: A mobile solar energy system is disclosed, which comprises a case and a solar energy device received in a chamber of the case. A cover is disposed above the chamber. The solar energy device comprises solar panels and a controlling device, and a plurality of solar modules are disposed on the solar panels. A battery module electrically connected to the controlling device is connected to the solar panels so that, when the sunlight propagates through the cover to the solar panels, the solar energy can be transformed into electric energy for charging the battery module. Thus, the solar energy device can be put into a standard case and transported in the case by a means of transportation, which makes it convenient to move with improved mobility; and a pollution-free and noise-free power supply can be provided by the solar energy device, which makes it more competitive in the market.

    Abstract: A package base structure for packaging a light-emitting element and a related manufacturing process are provided. The package base structure includes a semiconductor substrate having a top surface, a receiving space in the top surface and defined by slant surfaces, and a micro diffractive optical element on one of the slant surfaces. To produce the package base structure, a first etching mask with a first etching window is formed on the top surface. The etching window has a sidewall oriented at a bias angle with respect to a specific equivalent crystallographic orientation of the semiconductor substrate. Then, a selective anisotropic etching procedure is performed through the first etching window to form the slant surfaces on the semiconductor substrate. Afterwards, the micro diffractive optical element is formed on the slant surface for collimating or focusing a light beam emitted from the light-emitting element.

    Abstract: An optical compensated bend (OCB) mode liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a pixel electrode, a color filter, a common electrode and a liquid crystal layer.
