    摘要: A guide post is adapted to be mounted to an electrical connector for being received in a receptacle hole defined in a mating connector to guide the mating operation of the connectors. The guide post has a threaded section threadingly engaging with an inner-threaded hole defined in the connector and a post section extending beyond the electrical connector and insertable into the receptacle hole of the mating connector. An intermediate section is formed between the threaded section and the post section. The intermediate section has a polygonal cross section with a circumferential groove formed therein. A helical spring having a first end received and retained in the circumferential groove surrounds the post section. The helical spring has a second end engageable with the mating connector when engaging the connectors together thereby providing a reaction force therebetween.

A first and second resilient retaining legs extend from for inserting into the mounting hole of the PCB. A first space is defined between the first and second resilient retaining legs. A deformation facilitating means is arranged on the lock body adjacent to the resilient retaining legs whereby the deformation of the resilient retaining legs can be homogeneously and efficiently transformed to the lock body.

    摘要: A connecting terminal for use with a battery connector comprises a retaining section for attaching to a substrate. A first curved portion extends from the retaining section at a free end thereof. A first supporting portion extends from the first curved portion at a free end thereof. A second curved portion is formed at a free end of the first supporting portion, and a second supporting portion extends from the second curved portion. The second supporting portion forms a biasing end at an end thereof, and at least a reinforced rib is formed on one of the first and second curved portions thereby increasing the modulus of elasticity of the first curved portion.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a reception surface for receiving a complementary connector, an engaging surface opposite the reception surface for connecting with an external cable including a plurality of cable lines, and a plurality of receptacles formed in the insulative housing in communication with the reception surface and the engaging surface. A plurality of contacts are respectively received in the receptacles of the insulative housing and each contact has a reception portion for electrically engaging with the corresponding cable line of the cable. First and second shieldings secured together enclose the insulative housing and at least one end of the first and second shieldings is secured to a peripheral edge of the reception surface of the insulative housing. A positioning member is adapted to be received between the engaging surface of the insulative housing and the two shieldings to abut against the engaging surface of the insulative housing, wherein passageways are defined in the positioning member in communication with the receptacles and retain the cable lines therein. The positioning member prevents sputtered plastic particles from entering an interior of the insulative housing via the engaging surface during formation of a plastic shell which encloses the two shieldings.

    摘要: An electrical mini jack for electrically connecting an exterior pin plug to a circuit board, comprises a plurality of signal contacts, a grounding contact, an insulative housing and a base cover. The housing includes an inclined receiving portion and a hole formed together on opposite walls thereof. The grounding contact consists of a planar body portion, a tail portion extending through the base cover for soldering to an electrical circuit on the circuit board, a pair of positioning portions for orienting the contact in the housing and a spring arm perpendicularly bent with regard to the body portion for providing an increased elasticity to form a smooth contact area with the inserted pin plug. Since the spring arm of the grounding contact is received therein the receiving portion of the housing, the spring arm is located below or coplanar with an outer surface of the wall thereby avoiding the direct collision of exterior forces.
