Abstract:
A wireless device includes one or more antennas coupled to a transmit (TX) chain. The TX chain is configured to generate output RF signals using baseband signals. The TX chain includes a TX power controller configured to classify a packet of the output RF signals into a priority category of a plurality of priority categories based on priority information within the packet. The TX power controller is further to determine a time average specific absorption rate (TAS) energy budget of the wireless device. The TAS energy budget is based on a pre-configured regulatory power limit (e.g., SAR transmit power limit) of the wireless device over a time interval. Transmission power for transmitting the packet is determined based on the priority category and the TAS energy budget. The packet is encoded for transmission via the one or more antennas using the determined transmission power.
Abstract:
A mechanism is described for facilitating hybrid communication between devices according to one embodiment. A method of embodiments, as described herein, includes coupling an inductive coil of a near proximity circuitry with a capacitive pad of a body area circuitry to form a hybrid circuitry, and facilitating, via the hybrid circuitry, the hybrid communication between a plurality of devices.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to computer-implemented systems and methods for establishing communication using a body area network. A system may receive, by a capacitive sensor, a touch interaction from a user. Furthermore, the system may determine, by the capacitive sensor based at least in part on the touch interaction, a change in capacitance. In addition, the system may transmit, via the user's body in response to the change in capacitance, a request to a user device for credential information. The system may also receive, from the user device via the user's body, the credential information.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a power package module, including: a power package mounted with a plurality of semiconductor chips; a heat radiation module coming into contact with the power package and including a first heat radiation member for discharging heat generated from the power package; and a second heat radiation member, one side of which is connected to the first heat radiation member and the other side of which is connected to the power package.
Abstract:
The invention provides a method of operating a patch antenna having a radiating element. The radiating patch is excited and generates a circularly polarized radiation beam solely in a single higher order mode at a desired frequency. This allows for the radiating element to have a small surface area with the radiating beam tilted away from an axis perpendicular to the radiating element. Thus, the patch antenna provides a relatively small footprint and excellent RF signal reception from SDARS satellites at low elevation angles.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a reinforcing member for a membrane for improving the pressure-withstanding property of the membrane having corrugations, and a membrane assembly having the reinforcing member and a method of constructing the membrane assembly. By providing a reinforcing member for a membrane having corrugations and installed in an insulating structural member of an LNG cargo, the present invention can prevent the collapse of the corrugation and attenuate shocks against a same load without increasing the facial rigidity of the corrugation, and improve the insulating property by forming an additional insulating layer.
