摘要: A spectral characteristic measuring apparatus is provided with a memory and a CPU. The memory stores a spectral profile output from a sample light sensor array when light from a lamp is received, and a plurality of spectral profiles to be output from the sensor array at each displaced position in the case where a light separator is displaced relative to a grating member of the sensor array at a certain pitch stepwise in a wavelength diffusing direction. The CPU controls the lamp to emit light in a state that a white plate for calibration is disposed as a sample, compares a spectral profile output from the sensor array for correction with each spectral profile stored in the memory, and sets a displacement amount corresponding to the spectral profile that is most approximate to the corrective spectral profile as a wavelength shift correction amount.

摘要: Disclosed is an image receiving sheet for forming a toner image by removably adhering toner thereto. The sheet has an irregular surface including a plurality of concavities in the form of continuous grooves for receiving the toner and ridges extending along the concavities, and a toner image can be formed by removably adhering the toner to the concavities. The ridges of the irregular surface are capable of protecting the toner adhering to the concavities. The continuously grooved concavities have a depth (height of ridges) of 20 nullm to 150 nullm; and a condition of EnullAnull2 nullGPanullnullmnull can be established wherein EnullGPanull means Young's modulus and A nullnullmnull means a width of ridges, the Young's modulus being a value when a material for forming the concavities and ridges is elongated by 1%. The ridges may be reinforced by reinforcing portions for retaining postures of the ridges.

摘要: A digital camera includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) and an electronic viewfinder (EVF) both capable of displaying a captured image. The EVF displays a captured image, and the LCD produces a camera status display about settings in a recording mode. A user can use a crossed switch to change the setting of each selectable item in the camera status display. This allows the user to change the settings on the LCD while viewing the captured image on the EVF. Consequently, the plurality of monitors capable of displaying images are put to effective use.

摘要: The invention provides a reversible image display medium accommodating a dry developer in each cell formed between two substrates. The developer contains at least two kinds of frictionally chargeable dry developing particles having different chargeable polarities and different optical reflection densities. An image display can be achieved by forming an electrostatic latent image on one of the substrates to drive the developing particles in an electric field based on the electrostatic latent image. The developing particles are set to an average charge quantity of 1.0 nullC/g to 10 nullC/g to achieve good image display. Optionally at least one kind of the developing particles are magnetic developing particles having a coercive force of 50 oersteds to 250 oersteds, and optionally having an optical reflection density of 1.0 or more. An amount of small-size developing particles and/or an addition of a third component may be adjusted and volume average particle size ratio of developing particles may be controlled.
