Abstract:
An optimum route determination apparatus comprises a plurality of specific points selected from a road map on the basis of a fixed criterion, and an optimum route leading to each destination in which one of the specific points is a departure point and which has been calculated in advance. A route memory has a route table in which data of an initial route leading from the one of the specific points to at least the next specific point through which the optimum route passes are stored in correspondence with the each destination and the one of the specific points. An initialization unit is provided for setting a destination, a specific point near to a vehicle's current location, and specific points along the optimum route. An initial route acquisition unit is provided for retrieving the route table to acquire the data of the initial route in accordance with the destination and the specific point set by the initialization unit.
Abstract:
A connector assembly for connecting a flexible wiring plate, having circuit conductors coated with insulator films on the two sides thereof, to a box-like connector housing. The connector housing includes a housing body and a lid body detachably secured to the housing body. The housing body is provided with an opening in one of the top and bottom walls. An elastic seal member is mounted around the opening. A part of the insulator film of the flexible wiring plate is removed in accordance with the opening so that end portions of the circuit conductors are exposed from the insulator film in opposition to the opening. Electrical terminals are disposed in the housing body so that elastic contacts of the terminals engage with the exposed end portions of the circuit conductors.
Abstract:
A card type junction box includes a connector receiver for disposing therein one end of at least one pressure contact terminal, and a housing having an insertion opening for inserting therein one or more circuit cards. The circuit card is composed of, for example, a flexible printed circuit (FPC) or a printed circuit board (PCB). The circuit card is inserted and removably disposed in the housing so as to connect the circuit portion of the circuit card with the other end of the pressure contact terminal. The circuit portion of one circuit card may be adapted to be connected with the circuit portion of another circuit card.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus, an information processing system, and a method for configuring the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes circuitry configured to read setting data stored in a storage medium, determine whether the read setting data is first setting data available for another image forming apparatus or second setting data available for the image forming apparatus, configure the image forming apparatus using the second setting data, based on a determination that the read setting data is the second setting data, and configure the image forming apparatus using the first setting data, based on a determination that the read setting data is the first setting data and the another image forming apparatus is the same as the image forming apparatus. The information processing system includes the image forming apparatus and an information processing apparatus.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus serving as a master device and a plurality of local image processing apparatus serving as local devices are connected to one another via a network, and each of the devices includes an authentication information storage unit and an authentication unit. The master device stores, as master authentication information, authentication information necessary for an authentication on each of users who are able to use each of the devices, for each of the devices, and allows editing of the master authentication information. When the authentication information on the local device in the master authentication information is edited, the edited authentication information is transmitted to the local device, and the authentication information stored in local device is updated. When a user login operation is performed on the local device, an authentication is performed by using the authentication information in the local device.
Abstract:
A disposable diaper utilizing graphics to visually confirm whether the waist elastics are properly cut or cut off. A disposable diaper has a skin-facing side and a non-skin-facing side defining front and rear waist members, and includes an inner sheet lying on the skin-facing side, an outer sheet lying on the non-skin-facing side, waist elastics interposed between the inner and outer sheets and extending under a potential contractility in a transverse direction of the front and rear waist members, front and rear inelastic regions in which none of the waist elastics is present and graphic sheets having graphics adapted to be visually recognized through the outer sheet. End portions of the waist elastics interposed between the graphic sheets and the outer sheet extend from the outside of the graphic sheets across opposite side edges of the respective graphic sheets into the respective graphic sheets.
Abstract:
It is aimed not to increase contact resistance between a wire and a wire crimping portion even upon being subjected to a thermal cycle. A gold plating layer is formed on a base metal (20) via a nickel plating layer (21) in a terminal contact portion (11) to be held in contact with a mating terminal. A tin plating layer (23) is formed on the base metal (20) without via the nickel plating layer (21) in a wire crimping portion (12) to be crimped and connected to a core (15) of an insulated wire (14).
Abstract:
An information communication system of an overlay network includes: a first apparatus requesting the content; a second apparatus storing the content; and a third apparatus including: a first reception unit receiving a retrieval message transmitted from the first apparatus, the retrieval message including content identification information and location information; a storage unit storing the apparatus identification information of the second apparatus and the content identification information of the content stored in the second apparatus; and a transmission unit transmitting the apparatus identification information. The second apparatus includes: a second reception unit receiving the apparatus identification information from the third apparatus; and a control unit allowing the first apparatus to acquire the content stored in the second apparatus if the apparatus identification information received by the second reception unit matches the apparatus identification information of the second apparatus,
