摘要: Techniques are disclosed for presenting and collecting end user license agreement acceptance for software applications or firmware components executed on a computing appliance. A sentry component allows only certain commands to be executed before the relevant end user license agreements are accepted, e.g., commands to configure a network interface and web server on the appliance executed on a shell over a serial interface. Once configured the web server is used to provide a rich interface for presenting end user license agreements and obtaining acceptance thereof. Once the user accepts the terms of the relevant license agreements, then the appliance is made active and all configuration commands become operational, including commands needed to configure the device and start services which would otherwise be prohibited by the sentry component prior to license acceptance.

摘要: The disclosed solution includes a method for dynamically switching modalities based upon inferred conditions in a dialogue session involving a speech application. The method establishes a dialogue session between a user and the speech application. During the dialogue session, the user interacts using an original modality and a second modality. The speech application interacts using a speech modality only. A set of conditions indicative of interaction problems using the original modality can be inferred. Responsive to the inferring step, the original modality can be changed to the second modality. A modality transition to the second modality can be transparent the speech application and can occur without interrupting the dialogue session. The original modality and the second modality can be different modalities; one including a text exchange modality and another including a speech modality.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method for creating Web 2.0 entries, such as WIKI entries. In the method, a voice communication channel can be established between a user and an automated response system. User speech input can be received over the voice communication channel. A Web 2.0 entry can be created based upon the speech input. The Web 2.0 entry can be saved in a data store accessible by a Web 2.0 server. The Web 2.0 server can serve the saved Web 2.0 entry to Web 2.0 clients. The Web 2.0 clients can include a graphical and/or a voice interface through which the Web 2.0 entry can be presented to users of the clients. The created Web 2.0 entries (e.g. Web 2.0 application) can be formatted in an ATOM PUBLISHING PROTOCOL compliant manner.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for deploying and delivering composite services in an NGN network. In one embodiment of the invention, a channel presence detection method for a composite services enablement environment can include establishing multiple channels of access to a common session for a composite service, synchronizing changes of state for a model for the common session in the views for the channels of access to the composite service, and periodically indicating in at least one of the views, a listing of the established channels of access. In one aspect of the invention, periodically indicating a listing of the established channels of access can include detecting an update to the model indicating a change in established channels of access to the common session. In response, a hidden view for an end point for an established channel of access to the common session can be provided with an updated listing of other established channels of access to the session. Consequently, the hidden view can provide the updated listing to a corresponding visible view in the end point.

摘要: The present solution includes a method for dynamically switching modalities in a dialogue session involving a voice server. In the method, a dialogue session can be established between a user and a speech application. During the dialogue session, the user can interact using an original modality, which is either a speech modality, a text exchange modality, or a multi mode modality that includes a text exchange modality. The speech application can interact using a speech modality. A modality switch trigger can be detected that changes the original modality to a different modality. The modality transition to the second modality can be transparent to the speech application. The speech application can be a standard VoiceXML based speech application that lacks an inherent text exchange capability.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for deploying and delivering composite services in an NGN network. A method for auto-establishing a voice channel of access to a session for a composite service can include establishing a visual channel of access to a session for a composite service. Responsive to detecting a user interface event in a view for the visual channel which is not related to the establishment of a new channel of access, a separate voice channel of access to the session can be auto-established for the composite service. For instance, the user interface event can include the loading of a page for the view, the receipt of focus for a form in the view, the receipt of focus for a field in a form in the view, or a keystroke or mouse event. Finally, the method can include synchronizing changes of state for the session in a view for each of the visual channel of access and the voice channel of access to the session for the composite service.

摘要: A method of debugging a telephone call can include, using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) formatted messages, initiating a debug session between a debugger and a call server for a telephone call established over at least a portion of a packet-switched network. A debug function can be invoked within the call server as specified by a SIP formatted message originating from the debugger. The method further can include determining fault information pertaining to the telephone call using the debug function and sending a SIP formatted response from the call server to the debugger.

摘要: The present invention discloses a system and a method for creating and editing speech-enabled WIKIs. A WIKI editor can be served to client-side Web browsers so that end-users can utilize WIKI editor functions, which include functions to create and edit speech-enabled WIKI applications. A WIKI server can serve speech-enabled WIKI applications created via the WIKI editor. Each of the speech-enabled WIKI applications can include a link to at least one speech processing engine located in a speech processing system remote from the WIKI server. The speech processing engine can provide a speech processing capability for the speech-enabled WIKI application when served by the WIKI server. In one embodiment, the speech-enabled applications can include an introspection document, an entry collection of documents, and a resource collection of documents in accordance with standards specified by an ATOM PUBLISHING PROTOCOL (APP).
