Abstract:
Location-based ticket books are described. A mobile device can be programmed to present a virtual ticket to a service provider based on a location of the mobile device. The mobile device can receive a virtual ticket for accessing a service from a service provider. The virtual ticket can be associated with a signal source. The signal source can be pre-programmed to broadcast a beacon signal that includes an identifier identifying the signal source. The signal source can be placed at a venue where the service is available. The mobile device, upon arriving at the venue, can detect the beacon signal from the signal source. In response, the mobile device can activate a ticket manager. The ticket manager can automatically select, from a ticket book, the virtual ticket associated with the signal source. The mobile device can present content of the selected virtual ticket at the venue where the service is available.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to the use of loyalty accounts, private label payment accounts, and general payment accounts using an electronic device with an electronic wallet. Various accounts are linked to the electronic device. In some examples, the electronic device is NFC-enabled. The electronic device may be used to provide loyalty account information and payment account information to a payment terminal, such as an NFC-enabled payment terminal.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for personalizing program credentials are provided. For example, a program credential (e.g., loyalty pass) associated with a program provider (e.g., an issuer) subsystem may be customized using personal data. The personal data can be collected from an electronic device before provisioning the customized program credential on the electronic device for use in a suitable transaction. However, such personal data may not be collected unless an administration entity subsystem is first able to validate the program provider subsystem. The administration entity subsystem can generate tracking data that may be used during the validation and/or provisioning in order to track when program credentials are personalized.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for using an online resource to manage reloadable credentials on an electronic device are provided. In one example embodiment, a method, at an electronic device, includes, inter alia, receiving selection data via an online resource, where the selection data may be indicative of a particular credential applet stored on a secure element of the electronic device, in response to the receiving the selection data, accessing validation data from the particular credential applet on the secure element, transmitting initialization results comprising the accessed validation data to a remote subsystem associated with the online resource, in response to the transmitting, receiving reload data from the remote subsystem, and adjusting a balance of the particular credential applet based on the received reload data. Additional embodiments are also provided.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for using an online resource to manage credentials on an electronic device are provided. In one example embodiment, a method, at an electronic device, includes, inter alia, receiving account data via an online resource, accessing commerce credential status data from a secure element of the electronic device, providing initial credential management option data via the online resource based on the received account data and based on the accessed commerce credential status data, in response to the providing, receiving a selection of an initial credential management option via the online resource, and changing the status of a credential on the secure element based on the received selection. Additional embodiments are also provided.
Abstract:
Methods and arrangements allow merchants to set up advertising campaigns that distribute special offers or discounts and allows users to forward the special offers to friends. The forwarding of the offers could expose merchants to offering more discounts than budgeted and this is a concern. The invention addresses this by having the forwarded offer check with the merchant server or advertising server to see if there is enough budget in the campaign left to allow the issuance of the forwarded offer, and if so, the server issues a new identifier. If not, the user receiving the forwarded offer receives a message saying the campaign has expired. Since every offer has its own identifier, the forwarding of the offers can be tracked, as well as the redemption, which allows for social metric collection.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to making payments with a mobile device. In one example process, the mobile device receives and stores information for one or more payment accounts on the mobile device. The mobile device is used to make payments using the payment accounts. In some examples, authorization to proceed with a payment is performed before each purchase made by the user. The authorization process can include receiving a verification of the user, such as a fingerprint scan or passcode. In some examples, a payment account is selected from among available payment accounts. In some examples, an indication is displayed of a digital item associated with a purchased item. In some examples, a payment transaction is initiated with participants of an ongoing communication. In some examples, an application of a retailer is invoked based on the availability of the application. In some examples, a purchase recommendation is provided.
Abstract:
In some implementations, a computing device can be configured to automatically turn off notifications when generating a notification would cause a disturbance or be unwanted by a user. The device can be configured with quiet hours during which notifications that would otherwise be generated by the computing device can be suppressed. In some implementations, quiet hours can be configured as a time period with a start time and an end time. In some implementations, quiet hours can be derived from application data. For example, calendar data, alarm clock data, map data, etc. can be used to determine when quiet hours should be enforced. In some implementations, the device can be configured with exceptions to quiet hour notification suppression. In some implementations, the user can identify contacts to which the quiet hours notification suppression should not be applied.
