An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base member, an upper portion, a lower portion and defines a mating room between the upper portion and the lower portion. The upper portion and the lower portion are extending from one side of the base member. The metallic shell encloses the insulated housing, and includes a front shell and a rear shell. The front shell includes a front cover portion and a rear cover portion. The rear cover portion is extending from a rear side of the front cover portion. The rear shell encloses the front side of the base member and includes a front extending plate propped on the rear cover portion, so that the front shell and the rear shell are fixed with each other.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base member, an upper portion, a lower portion and a mating room between the upper portion and the lower portion. The base member includes a plurality of recessed portions. The upper and lower portions are extending from one side of the base member. The metallic shell encloses the insulated housing, and the metallic shell includes a rear case body and a front case body. The base member is inside the rear case body. The front case body is drawn from the rear case body to be formed at a front side of the rear case body. The front case body protrudes from the front side of the rear case body. The front case body defines a receiving cavity therein to dispose the upper portion and the lower portion.
Abstract:
An electrical connector plug has resilient contact terminals for electrical connection to an electrical connector socket. The electrical connector plug has an electrically conductive housing, and a dielectric shell and resilient contact terminals are mounted in the electrically conductive housing. The dielectric shell has a base portion and a front edge portion extending from the base portion. Two groups of resilient contact terminals are mounted on the dielectric shell and axially symmetrical to each other in the longitudinal direction, with each of the resilient contact terminals having a flat section and an upwardly protruding contact section. A metallic shield frame surrounds the front edge portion and is electrically connected to the electrically conductive housing, with the metallic shield frame having a front section and two lateral protective sections. The lateral protective sections have a height no less than that of the upwardly protruding contact sections.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing and a plurality of plug terminals. The insulated housing includes a base portion and a semi-tubular portion extending from one side of the base portion. The semi-tubular portion includes a portion, a front stopping portion at a front lateral surface of the portion, and a plurality of side blocks extending outward from two sides of the portion. The plug terminals include a plurality of signal terminals, one or more power terminal, and one or more ground terminal. The plug terminals are held in the insulated housing and at the surface of the portion.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, a plurality of second receptacle terminals, and a rear cover plate. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively disposed at an upper portion and a lower portion of the insulated housing. The rear cover plate includes a baffle plate and a connecting portion formed at one of two sides of the baffle plate and connected to the rear of the metallic shell. The rear cover plate is closeable and openable, so that the soldering condition between the first receptacle terminals and contacts of a circuit board can be checked when the rear cover plate is opened.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, and a plurality of second receptacle terminals. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The insulated housing includes a tongue portion and a plurality of first through holes formed on the tongue portion. The first receptacle terminals are held in the tongue portion. The second receptacle terminals are held in the tongue portion. The second receptacle terminals include a plurality of cut portions corresponding to the first through holes.
Abstract:
An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, a plurality of terminals, a metallic shell, and a positioning plate. The insulated housing includes a base portion, an upper portion, and a lower portion. The upper portion and the lower portion are extending from one side of the base portion. A mating room is between the upper portion and the lower portion. The terminals are held in the insulated housing. The metallic shell includes a tubular portion and a receiving cavity defined in the tubular portion. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The positioning plate is at the rear of the metallic shell to enclose the base portion. The positioning plate includes a first leg and a second leg respectively located at two sides of the base portion, so that the positioning plate can be assembled with a circuit board stably.
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, and a plurality of second receptacle terminals. The insulated housing received in the metallic shell is assembled with the first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals. The tail portion of the power terminal of the second receptacle terminals is adjacent to and combined with the tail portion of the power terminal of the first receptacle terminals. The tail portion of the ground terminal of the second receptacle terminals is adjacent to and combined with the tail portion of the ground terminal of the first receptacle terminals. The combined tail portions can be inserted into the same soldering hole of a circuit board. Therefore, the cost and time for the soldering procedure of the connector manufacturing can be reduced.
