摘要: An instrument panel has a passenger airbag system such that, in the deployment of the airbag, an airbag cover on the top side of the instrument panel adjacent to the windshield is upwardly displaceable in the direction of the windshield about a transverse pivot axis. Thereby, a passage for the actual airbag of the passenger airbag module is cleared. In order to prevent damage to the windshield due to the airbag cover being pivoted upward when the airbag is deployed, a transverse intended breaking line is provided on the airbag cover at a distance from the pivot axis so that the airbag cover is bent upward about this intended breaking line when it comes to rest against the windshield.

摘要: A knee support is arranged inside a body of the motor vehicle and exhibits a transverse frame member, which extends at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, is held at rigid, lateral body structures, and is provided with at least one deformation element. This deformation element comprises several hollow brackets, defined by bracket walls, and is covered by a support wall, facing the occupants' knees. The deformation element exhibits a first hollow bracket segment, which runs along the support wall, and a second additional hollow bracket segment, which is arranged at an angle to the first hollow bracket segment, whereby the second hollow bracket segment is attached to the transverse frame member.

摘要: A contact roller system of a winding machine for thin strip material has a shaft and pivot levers arranged in a row adjacent to one another on the shaft. The pivot levers have two contact roller segments moveable against slit rolls during a winding process by an actuating drive of the pivot levers. The two contact rollers are arranged on opposite sides of the pivot levers, respectively, and form a contact roller segment pair positioned adjacent to one another such that between neighboring end faces a gap required for rotational movement of the contact roller segment pairs is formed. The contact roller segment pairs are freely rotatably supported and rotate about an axis of rotation extending parallel to the pivot axis of the pivot levers. The axes of rotation of the contact roller segment pairs have a common pivot radius.

摘要: An analytical test element for determining an analyte in a body fluid comprises a detection area in which the analyte is detected and an application site at which the body fluid can be applied to the test element. The application site is spaced apart from the detection area, wherein at least some of the body fluid applied to the application site moves from the application site to the detection area. The test element also comprises a contamination area which at least partially adjoins the application site, wherein an adhesive substance is applied to at least part of the contamination area of the test element. The adhesive substance adheres to the contamination area of the test element and is able to interact with an excess amount of applied body fluid such that at least some of the body fluid adheres to the test element and thereby an excess amount of body fluid remains in the contamination area. An additional embodiment provides for test elements which, after use, can be stored in a storage container. Another embodiment provides for the production of the test elements.

摘要: The invention refers to a method and apparatus for CVD coating and to a coated body. To improve the mechanical properties of the structure and surface of the body and to make the method and apparatus as simple and cost-effective as possible, it is suggested in the method, in which a layer is deposited on a substrate in a carbon-containing gas atmosphere: that the process parameters be varied during the coating period in such a way that during the coating period a first operating mode and a second operating mode are repeatedly alternated, wherein in the first operating mode a higher carbon over-saturation of the gas atmosphere occurs near the substrate, and in the second operating mode a lower carbon over-saturation of the gas atmosphere occurs near the substrate. In this way, a body can be produced with a substrate and at least one layer deposited on the surface of the substrate, wherein the layer consists of nano-crystalline diamond.
