摘要： A mobile IP communication scheme for supporting a mobile computer moving over different address spaces is disclosed. A packet relay device for relaying packets having an address of the mobile computer device as a destination or source is provided at a border between a private address space and a global address space, where the packet relay device has a packet receiving unit for receiving a packet in a first format using a global address which is transmitted by the mobile computer for a location registration from a visited site managed by a global address system, and checking a content of the packet, and a packet transfer unit for transferring the packet in a second format using a private address, to a correspondent computer in a home network of the mobile computer managed by a private address system, according to the content of the packet.

摘要： When a first mobile node is moved, it reports binding information including a compatible node identifier (virtual mobile guaranteed general network identifier and a node identifier) and a compatible position identifier to a first server which is assigned to the first mobile node. A second mobile node reports the binding information to a second server. For communicating with the second mobile node to which a second server is assigned, if the destination address of a packet addressed to the second mobile node is designated with a compatible node identifier, the first mobile node acquires the binding information of the second mobile node from the second server. Then, the first mobile node converts the destination address of the packet into the acquired compatible position identifier and sets the compatible position identifier of the first mobile node as the source address of the packet. The first mobile node then transmits the packet.

摘要： In the disclosed information delivery scheme for delivering WWW information provided by information servers on the Internet to mobile computers connected to the Internet through a wireless network, a plurality of cache servers capable of caching WWW information provided by the information servers are provided in association with the wireless network. The cache servers can be managed by receiving a message indicating at least a connected location of a mobile computer in the wireless network from the mobile computer, selecting one or more cache servers located nearby the mobile computer according to the message, and controlling these one or more cache servers to cache selected WWW information selected for the mobile computer, so as to enable faster accesses to the selected WWW information by the mobile computer. Also, the cache servers can be managed by selecting one or more cache servers located within a geographic range defined for an information provider who provides WWW information from an information server, and controlling these one or more cache servers to cache selected WWW information selected for the information provider, so as to enable faster accesses to the selected WWW information by the mobile computer.
