摘要： Disclosed is a user interface method for switching modes in a combined terrestrial DMB terminal. When an event according to other mode (B) occurs, a user's key input is confirmed. It is checked if the key input aims at mode switching, and if so, a current service mode is switched to the other mode (B). Otherwise, it is further checked if the key input is a key input for immediate execution. When the key input for immediate execution aims at immediate execution following audio termination, an audio service in the current service mode (A) is terminated, and then the current service mode is switched to the other mode (B). When the key input for immediate execution aims at immediate execution without the audio termination, a video service in the current service mode (A) is terminated, and then the current service mode is switched to the other mode (B).

摘要： An apparatus and a method reduce delay when reproducing digital broadcasting in a mobile terminal. More particularly, the apparatus and method reduce a reproduction delay, from having to stand by until an encrypted stream that matches with a traffic key is received, by receiving the traffic key in advance prior to the encrypted stream when a mobile terminal receives encrypted broadcasting. The apparatus includes a controller. The controller receives and stores a traffic key corresponding to an encrypted channel even when not entering the encrypted channel, and deciphers and reproduces the relevant channel using the stored traffic key when entering the encrypted channel.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing information regarding service linking between a terrestrial DMB system and a satellite DMB system by using a service linking information provision server for creating and providing service linking information between the terrestrial DMB system and the satellite DMB system in a broadcasting having the terrestrial DMB system, the satellite DMB system, and a mobile communication system. The method includes the steps of (a) receiving EPG information from the terrestrial DMB system and the satellite DMB system, respectively, by the service linking information provision server; (b) analyzing content of the EPG information and confirming existence of a linked service; (c) classifying service linking according to degree of linking, when the existence of a linked service is confirmed, and storing resultant classification information as service linking information; and (d) providing the service linking information via the mobile communication system when a request for the service linking information is received from a DMB receiver terminal.

If a mobile broadcast-sharing mode for sharing a broadcast content with a specific communication terminal is set, a mobile broadcast terminal extracts broadcast video data and broadcast audio data from a mobile broadcast signal being received. The mobile broadcast terminal converts a codec of the broadcast video data and the broadcast audio data into a codec used in video communication, and delivers at least one of the converted broadcast video data and the converted broadcast audio data through video communication formed to the communication terminal.

摘要： Disclosed is a system and method for efficiently providing Electric Service Guide (ESG) data in a Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld (DVB-H) system. There is presented a method for dividing ESG data into basic data and additional data and for separately providing the data, wherein the basic data is necessary to provide a DVB-H broadcasting service. To separately provide the basic data from the additional data, a service provider forwards, during a basic profile session, only the basic data necessary to provide a broadcasting service, and separately forwards additional data during an advanced profile session including additional and high-grade data. Then, a terminal determines if a profiling is set up. If the profiling is set up, the terminal gets access to the basic profile session to acquire the basic data, and deals with the advanced profile session as a background job. As a result, the terminal first gets the basic ESG data necessary to provide the broadcasting service, which can antedate the commencement of the broadcasting service, and which can improve the effectiveness of a data receiving scheme of the terminal in great measure.
