The invention relates to acrylic telomers with grafts which can be cross linked by light, methods of synthesizing them and their applications. The telomers comprise a telogen of the mercaptan family, in particular dodecanethiol, and links of a taxogen of the acrylic family, some of which are grafted. The telomers are synthesized semi-continuously by radical initiation in the presence of initiators such as azobisisobutyronitrile, at a temperature below 75.degree. C., making it possible to obtain a number of links adapted to the desired applications. Grafting is carried out by means of glycidyl and aziridinyl groups.

The invention relates to a method for functionalizing natural fatty substances: According to said method, plant oils including at least two unsaturations and the derivatives thereof, fatty acids including at least one unsaturated compound and the derivatives thereof, and mixtures of same, are reacted with a thiol derivative of formula (I), at a temperature of between 0° C. and the temperature of total degradation of the natural fatty substance and in the presence of a thermal initiator compound or a redox initiator, or by UV radiation, or by UV radiation and in the presence of a photoinitiator. The invention also relates to the resulting functionalized fatty substances and to the use thereof for the preparation of polymers. The invention further relates to a method for preparing polymers from at least one functionalized fatty substance obtained by said functionalization method.

A sheet of vegetable wool fiber is impregnated with a reactive mix made up of a partially or completely epoxidized vegetable oil and a hardener. The sheet can also be included in a panel. The method for manufacturing the sheet includes mixing an epoxidized vegetable oil and a hardener at a temperature higher than each one of the melting temperatures thereof and lower than each one of the breakdown temperatures thereof; and depositing the obtained mix on an assembly of vegetable wool fibers at a temperature higher than each one of the melting temperatures thereof and lower than each one of the breakdown temperatures thereof.
