    摘要: A method of configuring a discrete-time servo controller in a fixed-point digital signal processor (DSP) for controlling a servo actuator in a disc drive includes obtaining a stable, closed-loop representation of the servo controller and the servo actuator. Bounds on the controller states are derived from the stable closed-loop representation. The controller states are scaled based on the controller state bounds, and the servo controller is configured in the DSP based on the scaled controller states.

    摘要: The polyesters of trans-4,4'-stilbenedicarboxylic acid, 95 to 60 mol % 1,4-butanediol, and 5 to 40 mol % ethylene glycol can be injection-molded to give shaped objects having exceptionally high heat resistance. Many of the polyesters also have excellent hydrolytic stability and chemical resistance. The polyesters of this invention can be molded, extruded into film, or spun into fibers having these properties.

    摘要: Disclosed are stabilized polyester compositions having significantly improved weatherability, said polyesters consisting of homopolyesters derived from a dicarboxylic acid component wherein at least a major portion of which is 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid (or ester) having a trans isomer content of at least 65% and a glycol component wherein at least a major portion of which is 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol and copolyesters thereof with modifying aliphatic glycols and/or aliphatic dicarboxylic acids, said polyesters being stabilized with the combination of at least one ultraviolet light stabilizing compound compatible with said polyester and at least one hindered amine light stabilizer having the formulae ##STR1## the groups shown as R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently selected from various substituents.

    摘要: This invention relates to polyesters of high molecular weight useful as films, fibers and molding plastics. It is particularly concerned with copolyesters comprising repeating units from trans-4,4'-stilbenedicarboxylic acid, optionally 0-40 mol % of terephthalic acid or 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid, and 1,2-propanediol, the polyesters having an inherent viscosity of about 0.3 or more and a flexural modulus of at least 900,000 psi.This invention is also concerned with copolyesters comprising repeating units of trans-4,4'-stilbenedicarboxylic acid, at least 10 mol % of one or more components selected from the group consisting of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or aliphatic glycol, and 1,3-propanediol. The polyesters have unobviously low gas permeability properties.
