摘要： A piezoelectric micro electro-mechanical system switch (MEMS), an array of piezoelectric MEMS switches, and a method of fabricating the switch, which are capable of improving low voltage and switching characteristics while securing high signal isolation, are provided. The piezoelectric MEMS switch includes a semiconductor substrate including a groove, a support formed over the semiconductor substrate and the groove. An actuator including a piezoelectric layer is formed on the support. A switching member is formed on the support on one side of the actuator, wherein upward movement of the switching member changes by a deformation of the piezoelectric layer of the actuator. Radio frequency (RF) transfer lines are arranged at a predetermined distance on the switching member and are separated by a predetermined interval from each other. The actuator is formed to have at least two cantilevers each having one end such that the ends are connected to each other.

摘要： A drum type washing machine reducing damage of a shaft system, and a method for assembling the shaft system are disclosed. The shaft system comprises a flange shaft coupled to a rear side of the drum to transmit the rotational force of the motor to the drum. A buffering material is provided between the drum and the flange shaft to distribute or absorb load or vibration transmitted from the drum to the flange shaft. The buffering material comprises a material having a liquid phase initially and changing to a solid phase having elasticity a predetermined period of time after contacting air. The buffering material is applied to a rear side of the drum or to a rear side of the shaft flange when assembling the shaft system.

摘要： The present invention relates to an optical waveguide having a curved reflecting mirror surface for optical coupling and a method of manufacturing it. The method of manufacturing an optical waveguide includes the steps of coating a transparent glass substrate with a photosensitive material; radiating ultraviolet rays onto the photosensitive material through a mask in which the shape of the optical waveguide and partition blocks formed beside ends of the optical waveguide are patterned; manufacturing a photoresist stamp by developing patterns onto which the ultraviolet ray has been radiated through the mask; forming a PolyDiMethylSiloxane (PDMS) mold by coating the photo stamp with PDMS, and forming a core; forming the optical waveguide, in which the partition blocks are formed beside the ends thereof, using the PDMS mold; and dropping liquid polymer between the partition blocks formed beside the ends of the optical waveguide using an inkjet header and hardening it. This structure and manufacturing method have advantage in that optical waveguides having variously shaped reflecting mirror surfaces are simply and economically manufactured.
