    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a gateway handover method, a gateway reselection method, and a communications apparatus. The method includes: A source gateway determines to perform gateway handover on a terminal device; determines a target gateway that is to be used to serve the terminal device; and hands over the terminal device from the source gateway to the target gateway. According to the gateway handover method, the gateway reselection method, and the communications apparatus provided in the embodiments of this application, in a non-3GPP network architecture, when gateway handover needs to be performed on the terminal device, the source gateway of the terminal device or the terminal device may hand over the terminal device from the source gateway of the terminal device to the target gateway, to implement gateway handover in the non-3GPP network architecture.

    Abstract: This application relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a network authentication triggering system, method and a related device. The method includes: receiving a first message from a terminal, where the first message carries first identity information and identifier information, the first identity information is encrypted identity information, and the identifier information is used to identify an encryption manner of the first identity information; and sending a second message to a first security function entity, where the second message is used to trigger authentication for the terminal, and the second message carries the identifier information. This application provides a solution of triggering an authentication process when identity information is encrypted.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a traffic flow splitting method and apparatus. In a process of accessing a 3GPP network by UE, an eNB in the 3GPP network sends a first multiflow aggregation instruction to the UE, to instruct the UE to establish a first multiflow aggregation channel between the UE and the eNB via a non-3GPP network. The UE establishes the first multiflow aggregation channel. The first multiflow aggregation channel is used for transmitting a part of data in a downlink traffic flow for the UE, where the part of data is offloaded to the non-3GPP network for transmission, and other data in the downlink traffic flow is offloaded to a 3GPP channel for transmission. In the method, different data packets in a same traffic flow can be simultaneously transmitted in the 3GPP network and the non-3GPP network.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides an access method in a wireless communications network. Authentication and authorization functions of a 3GPP AAA server for a non-3GPP access network can be integrated into a mobility management network element. Therefore, after UE accesses the non-3GPP access network, a non-3GPP access gateway may select the mobility management network element that supports the authentication and authorization functions for the non-3GPP access network as a target mobility management network element, and request the target mobility management network element to perform authentication and authorization for the UE. After authentication and authorization are performed for the UE, the non-3GPP access gateway may select a P-GW for the UE, and set up a PDN connection between the non-3GPP access gateway and the selected P-GW for the UE.
