摘要: The present disclosure relates to network management methods. One example method includes obtaining, by a network slice selection function (NSSF), a configuration parameter sent by a network slice management and orchestration module (NSMAO), where the configuration parameter includes a correspondence, the correspondence includes at least one of a correspondence between single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) and a network slice instance identifier (NSI ID) or a correspondence between the S-NSSAI and a network slice subnet instance identifier (NSSI ID), and the configuration parameter instructs the NSSF to select, based on the configuration parameter, at least one of a network slice instance (NSI) or a network slice subnet instance (NSSI) for S-NSSAI provided by user equipment.

摘要: A mobility management processing method includes: receiving, by an SMF network element, a data notification message that includes a PDU session identifier and that is sent by a UPF network element, and determining, based on the PDU session identifier, a session and SSC mode corresponding to the PDU session identifier and/or a service area of the UPF network element, where the UPF network element is a network element that establishes a PDU session corresponding to the PDU session identifier; determining a paging area based on the SSC mode and/or the service area of the UPF network element; and sending a first message including the paging area to an AMF network element, where the first message is used to trigger the AMF network element to page, in the paging area, a terminal that establishes the PDU session by using the UPF network element.

摘要: An aspect of the disclosure provides a method of network slice management performed by a Communication Service Management Function (CSMF). The method includes receiving service requirements and receiving capability exposure information. The method further includes transmitting network slice requirements in accordance with the service requirements and capability exposure information. In some embodiments the capability exposure information is received from a Network Slice Management Function (NSMF). In some embodiments the network slice requirements are transmitted to the NSMF. Other aspects are directed to methods implemented by an NSMF and a Network Sub-Slice Management Function (NSSMF). Other aspects are directed to the network functions themselves.

摘要: The present invention discloses an overload control method, a gateway device, a mobility management entity, and a PGW. The method includes: determining, by a gateway device, first overload indication information, where the first overload indication information is used to indicate an overload control policy; and sending, by the gateway device, the first overload indication information to a mobility management entity, so that the mobility management entity executes the overload control policy according to the first overload indication information. According to the overload control method, the gateway device, the mobility management entity, and the PGW in embodiments of the present invention, adverse impact brought by device overload can be avoided; therefore, the device overload can be effectively controlled.
