    摘要: A stencil printer has a printing drum which has an ink-permeable peripheral wall around which a stencil master is wound and to the inner surface of which ink is supplied. The printing drum is rotated about its longitudinal axis. An internal press roller is disposed inside the printing drum and is rotated in contact with the inner surface of the peripheral wall of the printing drum. A paper pinch drum is disposed outside the printing drum and is pressed against the peripheral wall of the printing drum with a printing paper pinched between the pinching means and the stencil master wound around the peripheral wall. A retainer roller is disposed in a predetermined position near the internal press roller and the inner surface of the peripheral wall downstream of the contact line between the internal press roller and the inner surface of the peripheral wall in the direction of rotation of the printing drum.

System update data such as a patch for the user terminal and confidential data that should be saved to the server are distinguished when written to a secondary storage device, and separately cached into memory. Then, the confidential data that should be saved to the server is automatically uploaded to the file server at any given timing, for example, at shut-down of the terminal, whereby a minimum amount of data can be efficiently saved to the file server.

    摘要: There is disclosed an inkjet recording apparatus including a feeding device, a medium supply device, a remover, and an inkjet head. The feeding device includes a plurality of belt rollers and an endless feeder belt wound around the belt rollers. An outer circumferential surface of the feeder belt functions as a feeding surface on which a recording medium is held while the recording medium is fed. The medium supply device makes the recording medium held on a downward-facing surface of the feeder belt with a recording surface of the recording medium facing downward. The downward-facing surface is a portion of the feeding surface which faces downward. The remover removes foreign matter on the recording surface of the recording medium as being held on the downward-facing surface. The inkjet head has a nozzle from which a droplet of ink is ejected onto the recording surface of the recording medium as being held on an upward-facing surface of the feeder belt. The upward-facing surface is a portion of the feeding surface which faces upward.

    摘要: An image recording apparatus improves the operating efficiency while preventing trouble due to the contact of a recording medium with a discharging surface of a recording head. A distance sensor for detecting the distance of the leading edge of a sheet from a conveying surface is provided upstream from the inkjet head in the conveying direction of the sheet. A gap control unit controls a frame moving mechanism to move the inkjet head up so that a gap between the discharging surface and the conveying surface increases when the distance detected by the distance sensor is above a first distance, and the gap distance may be increased by different amounts depending on the distance detected by the distance sensor. A discharging control unit controls the inkjet head to discharge ink droplets after the gap is increased.
