摘要: A liquid cooling system includes a cooling unit (100) and a coolant driving unit (200). The cooling unit includes a first cooling body (110) defining a first cavity, a second cooling body (130) defining a second cavity in communication with the first cooling body (110), and a heat sink (150) sandwiched between the first and second cooling bodies. The coolant driving unit is in flow communication with the first and second cooling bodies respectively, so that the first and second cooling bodies and the coolant driving unit together form a loop. Circulation of the coolant in the loop causes the heat generated by the heat generating component to be capable of being transferred from the first and second cooling bodies to the heat sink for dissipation.

摘要: A heat dissipation assembly includes a heat sink (20), a backplate (50), a pair of posts (60) and a fastener (10). The heat sink is attached on a CPU (30) which is mounted on a PCB (40). The backplate is disposed below the PCB. The fastener includes a main body (14) spanning on the heat sink, a resilient member (16) and an operating member (12). The posts extends through the backplate and engaged with the main body. Before the fastener is activated, the resilient member and the operating member squeezes the main body therebetween. When the fastener is activated, the operating member is above the main body. The resilient member resiliently presses the heat sink toward the CPU and the main body with opposite directional forces. The posts are consequently forced by the main body to urge the backplate against the PCB.

摘要: A heat dissipation device (10) includes a base (12) and a plurality of fins (14). Each fin includes a heat dissipating post (14) and a heat conducting tab (18). Each heat dissipating post is made by rolling up a metallic slice and thereby defines a through hole therein. Each heat conducting tab includes an engaging part (18a) attached on the base and a medial part (18b) extending from the corresponding heat dissipating post. The medial parts thermally connect the engaging parts and the heat dissipating posts, and mechanically separate the engaging parts from the heat dissipating posts; thereby the through holes are allowed to be exposed at opposite ends of the heat dissipating posts.

摘要: A heat sink fastener (10) includes a pressing beam (20), a clamping beam (30), and an operating lever (40). The pressing beam includes a first pivot portion (26) at one end thereof, and a hook (242) at an opposite end thereof. The clamping beam has a second pivot portion (32) at a top end thereof, and a hook (34) at a bottom end thereof. The operating lever is pivotally engaged with each of the first and second pivot portions. The operating lever includes a pair of parallel pivot plates (44), each forming a protrusion (446) on an internal face thereof. In use of the fastener, the fastener is unlocked when the protrusions and the clamping beam are disposed at a same side of the first pivot portion. The fastener is locked when the protrusions and the clamping beam are disposed at opposite sides of the first pivot portion.

摘要: A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink (20), a clip (40), and a spring clamp (60). The heat sink includes a base (21), pin fins (23), and slots (25, 27) defined between respective adjacent rows of the pins in perpendicular crisscross fashion. The clip made from a flexible metal wire includes a central body (41) with a raised portion (43), and two arms (45) extending perpendicularly but in different directions from opposite ends of the body. A hook (47) is formed at a free end of each arm. The spring clamp includes an elongate central pressing portion (61). A longitudinal opening (63) defined in the pressing portion engagingly receives the raised portion. Two pairs of elastically deformable wings (65) extend from respective opposite sides of the pressing portion. The clamp is resiliently retained in corresponding slots of the heat sink, and thus secures the clip to the heat sink.

摘要: A clip for mounting a heat sink to an electronic element includes a pressing body and a pair of latching arms extending from opposite ends of the pressing body. A sloped portion connects the pressing body with each latching arm. Each latching arm defines a latching opening for engaging with a corresponding latching projection of the electronic element. A handling tab is integrally extends outward from one of the latching arms. A slot is defined in the handling tab. Thus, when disassembling the clip from the electronic element, a tooling, such as a screwdriver, is partially inserted into the slot of the clip and then ensures an easy disengagement the latching opening of the clip from the latching projection of the electronic element.

摘要: A clip includes a plastic handle and a metal fastener. The handle is generally T-shaped with an operation section and a joint section extending downwards from the operation section. The joint section forms a pair of hems generally L-shaped and extending toward each other to define a receiving space therebetween. The metal fastener includes a body and first and second arms extending from opposite ends of the body. A pair of protrusions extends from each of opposite edges of the second arm for being interferentially received in the receiving space of the handle thereby securely retaining the handle to the fastener. Flanges extend from opposite edges of the body and are bent to overlap the body for reinforcing the body. Alternatively, a rib is formed on the body for the reinforcement purposes.

摘要: A heat sink clip (1) includes a main body (10), a post (40), a spring (50) and a cammed handle (30). The main body includes a horizontal portion (12) and two locking arms (16). A locking hole (17) is defined in an end of each locking arm for engaging with catches (82) of a socket (80). The post has a pressing block (44) at a bottom portion and a cutout (42) at a top portion. The spring is placed around the post and rests on the pressing block The post extends through a through aperture (13) of the horizontal portion, and the cutout pivotally receives a cam (32) at one end of the handle. When the handle is pressed, the horizontal portion of the main body is raised by the decompressed spring, so that the locking arms tightly engage with the catches of the socket.
