Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that obtains categorization information and corresponding uncertainty information from a perception subsystem, wherein the categorization information and the corresponding uncertainty information are to be associated with an object in an environment. The technology may also determine whether the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies one or more relevance criteria, and automatically control the perception subsystem to increase an accuracy in one or more subsequent categorizations of the object if the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies the one or more relevance criteria. In one example, determining whether the corresponding uncertainty information satisfies the relevance criteria includes taking a plurality of samples from the categorization information and the corresponding uncertainty information, generating a plurality of actuation plans based on the plurality of samples, and determining a safety deviation across the plurality of actuation plans, wherein the relevance criteria are satisfied if the safety deviation exceeds a threshold.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to extremely high throughput (EHT) multiuser hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). A device may determine one or more medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (MPDUs) to be sent to a first station device of one or more station devices, wherein the one or more MAC protocol data units (MPDUs) comprise a first MPDU. The device may segment the first MPDU into a plurality of segments, wherein the one or more segments include a first segment and a second segment. The device may cause to send the plurality of segments to the first station device. The device may identify a feedback frame received from the first station device, wherein the feedback frame comprises error information associated with the plurality of segments. The device may cause to retransmit at least one of the plurality of segments based on the error information.

Abstract: Provided herein is a method and apparatus for frame preemption in downlink communications for next generation Wi-Fi. The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: interface circuitry; and processor circuitry coupled with the interface circuitry, wherein the processor circuitry is to: encode a Preemptable Physical Protocol Data Unit (P-PPDU) packet; and cause transmission of the P-PPDU packet to a Station (STA) via the interface circuitry, wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a plurality of MPDU segments of an Aggregated MPDU (A-PDU), each MPDU segment includes one or more IPDUs, and wherein the P-PPDU packet includes a midamble (MA) for each MPDU segment. Abstract: Automated methods and apparatuses for charging or fueling a vehicle include provision of a plurality of tags and a controller to a vehicle. The plurality of tags are respectively installed at a plurality of positions on a top face of a roof of the vehicle. The controller is configured to cause information about a charging or fueling port of the vehicle to be transmitted to a charging or fueling system of a charging or fueling station. The charging or fueling system, provided with a charging connector or fueling nozzle, and an imaging device, uses at least the information about the charging or fueling port and the plurality of positions of the plurality tags to determine a location of the charging or fueling port of the vehicle, to charge or fuel the vehicle.

Abstract: An example apparatus for encoding video frames includes a receiver to receive video frames and a heat map from a camera and expected object regions from a video database. The apparatus also includes a region of interest (ROI) map generator to detect a region of interest in a video frame based on the expected object regions. The ROI map generator can also detect a region of interest in the video frame based on the heat map. The ROI map generator can then generate an ROI map based on the detected regions of interest. The apparatus further includes a parameter adjuster to adjust an encoding parameter based on the ROI map. The apparatus also further includes a video encoder to encode the video frame using the adjusted encoding parameter.

Abstract: Optical wireless communication techniques are described and claimed. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to method and apparatus to provide optical signaling with visible light having variable pulse position modulation (VPPM). The optical signal includes a Start Frame Delimiter (SFD) which indicates beginning of an asynchronous optical signaling. The VPPM signaling includes a lower frequency time varying amplitude component that when subsampled by a low frame rate camera results in alias induced flicker or blinking. Such signals are quickly recognizable as signals with modulated data. In another embodiment, the disclosure provides a system, device and method for decoding a Start Frame Delimiter (SFD) to indicate arrival of incoming VPPM optical data.
