    Abstract: For example, an Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) wireless communication station (STA) may be configured to scramble, according to a first scrambling sequence, a plurality of EDMG Header B bits of an EDMG Header B field of an EDMG Multi-User (MU) Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) into a plurality of scrambled header bits; generate a Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codeword based on the plurality of scrambled header bits; determine a data block based on the LDPC codeword; generate one or more scrambled data blocks based on the data block by scrambling the data block according to a second scrambling sequence; and transmit a wireless transmission of the EDMG Header B based on the one or more scrambled data blocks.

    Abstract: Logic for direct current (DC) estimation of a wireless communication packet. Logic may determine a first DC estimation based upon a first set of sequences in a preamble of the wireless communication packet. Logic may determine a second DC estimation based upon a second set of sequences in the preamble. Logic may select one of the DC estimations based upon a frequency-offset estimation. Logic may remove one of the DC estimations from the packet. Logic to null DC bins that result from a Fourier transform of the packet to mitigate transmitter DC bias. And logic to determine a correction for the packet based upon a difference between a predetermined guard interval value and a received guard interval value and to apply the correction to the packet.

    Abstract: In a wireless, OFDM system, phase noise may be mitigated through the use of an interleaver that is designed to distribute coded block bits across subcarriers of multiple OFDM symbols. Doing so decreases the non-stationary properties of the noise. Such an interleaver may be a rectangular interleaver that maps each block to a different subcarrier to create frequency diversity and to a different OFDM symbol, to create time diversity. One exemplary method of interleaving the symbols is to place a first symbol at row X and column Y of the interleaver. The next symbol is placed in row X+1 and column Y+1. The result of such an interleaving process is a great reduction in the block error rate.
