    摘要: There is provided an image pickup device having a high resolution used for a movie camera, a still camera (shutter) camera) and the like. This image pickup divice includes a photo-to-photo conversion element (PPCE) comprising at least a photoconductive layer member, a dielectric mirror and an optical modulation layer member disposed between two transparent electrodes, a first image formation elements for forming an optical image of an object on said photo-to-photo conversion element, a second image formation elements for scanning, in two direction substantially perpendicular to each other, optical image information corresponding to said optical image of said object using a light from said photo-to-photo conversion element to read it out, and for changing the light beam reading out said optical image information to a scanning light beam, a canning locus of which on a plane becomes a line, and recording medium transportation mechanism for allowing a recording surface of a recording medium to be located on said plane where a linear image of said optical information is formed, and for continuously moving said recording medium in a direction having an angle with respect to said line of the scanning locus.

    摘要: A reproducing apparatus which reproduces a charge latent image recorded in a recording medium. The apparatus has an electromagnetic radiation source, an optical system for leading an electromagnetic radiation ray emitted from the electromagnetic radiation source in a direction toward a recording medium on which an object information to be read is prerecorded as a charge latent image, and a read head arranged closely facing to the recording medium and arranged in series in a travelling path of the electromagnetic radiation ray. The read head is of a multilayer structure comprising a support base plate, a photo modulation material layer for generating a mode modulation of said electromagnetic radiation ray which passes the photo modulation material layer therethrough in response to intensity of an electric field by said charge latent image, and an electrode for applying a predetermined electric field to said photo modulation layer, and for allowing to receive the electromagnetic radiation ray in a read wavelength range and transmit thereof to the photo modulation layer, an output surface facing to a processor for emitting thereto the electromagnetic ray having passed through the electrode and the photo modulation layer, said processor processing the electromagnetic ray modulated by going through the photo modulation material layer and outputted from the output surface.

    摘要: In a printing apparatus, there are provided a transfer drum having a charge storage layer and an electrode provided on one side thereof, a printing head having a photoconductive layer provided at the other side thereof, a transparent electrode provided on the photoconductive layer such that the photoconductive layer and the charge storage layer are interposed between the transparent electrode and the electrode, a beam applying device for applying a constant laser beam to the photoconductive layer from a side of the transparent electrode, a printing signal applying device for applying a printing signal between the transparent electrode and the electrode, developing device for developing the charge pattern, and photographic fixing device for fixing the developed charge pattern on a piece of paper. Since the charge storage layer on a transfer drum is provided apart from the photoconductive layer, the laser printer has a simple structure, and can be presented with low cost.

    摘要: An optical comb filter has a plurality of optical comb filter elements disposed successively in the advancing direction of light. The optical comb filter characteristics attenuate and remove specific space frequencies which do not have mutual relationships of odd-number multiples and frequencies of the specific space frequencies. At least one phase plate is interposed between neighboring optical comb filter elements in front and rear positions with respect to the light advancing direction. The phase plate converts a light exiting from the front filter element into a light which is divided in the rear filter element into normal light and abnormal light, exiting with mutually equal light quantity. The normal and abnormal light enters, as incident light, the rear filter element.

    摘要: An image formation apparatus using a recording medium including a scattering-mode light-modulation member which takes an opaque state in response to a heat and takes a transparent state in response to an electric field. The apparatus comprises an electrode device disposed in opposed relation to the recording medium and a charge removal device facing or in contact with the recording medium. The electrode device applies an electric field to the recording medium thereby completely erasing an image previously recorded in the recording medium and the charge removal device removes charge left in the recording medium due to application of the electric field by the electrode device. After the erasure, the recording medium is heated by a thermal head in accordance with an information signal from an external device so as to form a new image in the recording medium.
