摘要： A flowpath ring is securable in a machined groove of a gas turbine compressor stator casing. The ring includes a connector section engageable with and shaped corresponding to the machined groove. A flowpath section is disposed radially inward relative to the connector section and includes a clearance surface disposed facing a turbine rotor blade. The flowpath section defines a blade flowpath when secured in the turbine stator casing machined groove. The use of flowpath rings facilitates flowpath repair if rotor blade tip rubs occur. Additionally, the rings enable better matching of transient thermal responses between the compressor rotor and compressor casings.

摘要： A device and method for applying a wind force to a plurality of plants in an agricultural environment is provided to screen for selected wind-resistance traits in the plurality of plants. In one embodiment of the present invention, a device is provided including a generating device for creating a moving fluid stream to provide the wind force, a directing device, such as a duct and/or movable vane, for precisely and selectively directing the wind force towards a portion of at least one plant, and a controller for adjusting one or more parameters of the fluid stream. The device and/or method embodiments of the present invention may thus be used to selectively apply the wind force to one or more plants (or portions thereof) such that the plants may be evaluated with respect to one or more wind-resistant physical characteristics.

The operation engine may provide a user with the option to keep both files that have a file name conflict. It may further permit the user to rename a file involved with a file name conflict. The operations engine may also automatically rename one of the files of a file name conflict by appending a character to a root of the filename. The character may include the lowest integer available for the root in a destination for the files. The operations engine may provide the option to keep both files as part of a pre-calculation of potential errors for a requested operation. The operations engine may place file name conflicts in an error queue and permit the user to select an option to keep both files after the conflict is encountered.
