An apparatus for moulding plastic preforms into plastic containers includes a plurality of moulding stations arranged on a movable carrier. The moulding stations each including blow moulds, within which the plastic preforms can be moulded into plastic containers by applying a flowable medium, as well as blow mould carriers for holding these blow moulds. The blow mould carriers include at least two blow mould carrier parts for opening and closing the blow moulds. The blow mould carrier parts are movable relative to each other. A clean room at least partially surrounds the individual moulding stations, and includes a locking mechanism that is at least partially located within the clean room for locking the two blow mould carrier parts together in a closed condition.

The invention relates to a blowing mold array (1) for re-molding plastic preforms into plastic containers comprising a blowing mold unit (2) forming a cavity (8), inside of which the plastic preforms can be expanded to plastic containers, wherein the blowing mold unit (2) is at least a two-piece unit, and having a blowing mold retainer (4) for accommodating the blowing mold unit, wherein the blowing mold retainer (4) has at least two mold retainer elements (4a, 4b) for accommodating parts (2a, 2b) of the blowing mold unit (2), and having a locking mechanism (10) in order to arrest at least one part (2a) of the blowing mold unit (2) against at least one mold retainer element (4a), wherein the locking mechanism (10) is provided with an engagement element (12) that can be pivoted and/or shifted relative to a default axis (X), which in an arrested state of the part (2a) of the blowing mold unit (2) opposite a mold retaining element (4a) abuts a segment of the part (2a) of the blowing mold unit (2). According to the invention, the locking mechanism (10) is provided with an actuating element (14) in order to loosen the arrest between the mold retaining element (4a) and the blowing mold unit (2), and an actuation of said actuating element (14) is coupled with the actuation of the engagement element (12).

An apparatus for shaping plastics material pre-forms to form plastics material containers includes a conveying device on which a plurality of blowing stations are arranged. Each of these blowing stations has a blow mould inside which a plastics material pre-form is capable of being shaped to form a plastics material container. The apparatus has a clean room inside which the plastics material pre-forms can be conveyed. The region of the conveying device on which the blowing stations are arranged is situated in the clean room, and at least one further region of the conveying device is arranged outside the clean room.

An apparatus for shaping plastics material pre-forms to form plastics material containers may include a conveying device which conveys the containers along a pre-set conveying path, a stressing device which acts upon the containers with a flowable medium in order to expand them, a reservoir for storing the flowable medium, and a supply device which delivers the flowable medium from the reservoir to the container. A valve device controls the supply of the flowable medium into the containers, in order to expand the containers. The apparatus includes a first feed line in order to supply a flowable sterilization medium to the supply line between the reservoir and the container to be treated or in a removal line for the flowable medium, which removes the flowable medium from the containers.

A rotary device (10), especially a transfer star, for the transport of articles (15) from a first processing device (1) to a second processing device (5). The rotary device (10) includes a plurality of gripping devices (60) for gripping and holding of articles (15) that are preferably electronically controlled. The distance between the articles (15) in the first processing device (1), e.g. in a heating unit, is different from the distance between the articles (15) in the second processing device (5), e.g. a blow molding device. An electronic control device (30) is located on top of the rotary device (10). This control device (30) controls the distance between the articles (15) fed into the second processing device (5). A method is also provided.

An device for molding plastic preforms into plastic containers comprises at least one blow mold and a plurality of closure members interacting with one another in order to transfer the blow mold between an open state and a closed state. The blow mold forms a cavity, within which the plastic preforms may be expanded into the plastic containers. The closure members comprise at least one first mold part and one second mold part, which are moveable with respect to one another. The closure members further comprise a blow nozzle unit which is moveable with respect to the mold parts, and which closes the blow mold in the closed state in one direction. At least one first drive unit moves the mold parts with respect to one another. A second drive unit moves the blow nozzle unit with respect to the mold parts. At least one drive unit moving at least one of the closure members for transferring the blow mold between the closed state and the open state includes an electric drive unit.
