摘要: A throttle unit, in particular of a blow moulding device, includes a throttle and a position sensor. The throttle has an actuator and a drive unit including an electric motor for changing a position of the actuator. A throughflow cross section in a throughflow channel of a fluid can be changed by changing the position of the actuator. The drive unit is arranged at a first end of the actuator. The position sensor monitors the position of the actuator directly. The throttle unit makes it possible to set and adjust the throttle automatically in an accurate but nevertheless cost-effective manner.

摘要: Systems and methods for making a reduced material container (105) are provided that hold a preform (130) adjacent to an open end (165) of the preform (130), stretch the preform (130), close a mold (110, 120) about the stretched preform (175) to form a truncated preform (185), and introduce a pressurized fluid (160) into the truncated preform (185) to expand the truncated preform (185) and form the reduced material container (105). A stretch rod (125) can be inserted into the preform (130) to mechanically stretching the preform (130). The mold (110, 120) accepts the preform (130) at a first end (135) thereof, has an open state and a closed state, and the closed state forms a cavity (140) defining an internal surface (145) having a second end (150) located remotely from the first end (135). A first length (155) is defined by a distance between the first end (135) and the second end (150), the stretch rod (125) mechanically stretching the preform (130) to a second length (170), the second length (170) being greater than the first length (155).

摘要: A medical stent mold includes a tube having an interior passage sized and dimensioned to receive a stent assembly disposed at least partially about a central portion of a stent balloon. The medical stent mold may also include a housing forming a chamber through which the tube extends. The tube may include a thermally conductive material and may have a body portion that extends within the chamber and an end portion that is proximate the body portion and that extends away from the housing. Forced convection may be used to quickly heat and cool the tube. Methods of increasing retention of an expandable stent assembly on a stent balloon and of detecting a leak in a stent balloon are also included.

The apparatus includes a blow molding mold in which the preform is disposed; a blow nozzle that engages in an opening of the preform; a pressurized liquid supply that supplies a pressurized liquid to a supply path that is connected to the blow nozzle; and a seal member that is provided inside the supply path and opens and closes the supply path with respect to the blow nozzle. The pressurized liquid supply is configured to start supplying the pressurized liquid to the supply path after the seal member has begun to open.

摘要: To regulate, in blow molding device using liquid, such as beverage, cosmetic product, and pharmaceutical product, filled in final product as pressurized liquid, head space in container which is filled with content liquid during molding to be predetermined volume, provided is blow molding device including blow nozzle configured to tightly communicate with mouth tubular portion of preform. In state where rod is disposed to be inserted into blow nozzle and where tip portion of rod is inserted into preform, pressurized liquid is supplied into preform via tubular introduction path formed by blow nozzle and rod, thereby expandingly shaping container in accordance with cavity of metal mold. When container is shaped and supply of pressurized liquid is stopped, rod is disinserted from container, and according to shape and insert position of tip portion of rod, head space of shaped container that is filled with liquid is regulated to be predetermined volume.
