    Abstract: A mobile terminal which includes a terminal body; a display mounted to the terminal body; a window disposed to cover the display and including central and edge regions wherein the central region is formed of a transmissive material and configured to align with the display, and the edge region is formed of an opaque material and configured to surround the central region. The mobile terminal further includes a first touch sensor disposed to span at least the central region and configured to detect a touch input to the central region; and a second touch sensor disposed to span at least part of the edge region and configured to detect a touch input to the at least part of the edge region, wherein the second touch sensor is configured to have a higher touch sensitivity than the first in order to detect a touch input to the opaque edge region.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, which facilitates a terminal to be used in further consideration of user's convenience. The present invention includes sensing a humidity through a humidity sensor, receiving an AP (access point) location information through a wireless communication unit if a variation amount of the sensed humidity per unit time is equal to or greater than a prescribed value, determining whether a current location is an indoor space or an outdoor space based on the received AP location information, and activating a function of indoor location measurement if the determined location is the indoor space. The present invention determines a timing point of an outdoor-to-indoor or indoor-to-outdoor location shift of a mobile terminal and then activates an indoor location measuring function based on the result of the determination.
