The present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting and receiving advanced UHD broadcasting content in a digital broadcasting system. The method for transmitting and receiving advanced UHD broadcasting content, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: encoding data of a base layer; encoding data of one or more enhancement layers; encoding broadcast network program metadata including information on an advanced UHD broadcast program transmitted through a broadcast network, and encoding IP network program metadata including information on an advanced UHD broadcast program transmitted through an IP network; packetizing the encoded data of the base layer and/or the data of a first enhancement layer into a broadcast packet; packetizing the encoded data of a second enhancement layer into an IP packet; transmitting the broadcast packet through the broadcast network; and transmitting the IP packet through the IP network.

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving an ultra-high definition broadcasting signal for high dynamic range representation in a digital broadcasting system. An apparatus for receiving an ultra-high definition broadcasting signal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit for receiving the ultra-high definition broadcasting signal including ultra-high definition broadcasting contents and high dynamic range metadata, the high dynamic range metadata indicating brightness information represented in the ultra-high definition broadcasting contents and information on a method for converting the ultra-high definition broadcast contents to be adapted to a display environment of the receiving apparatus; a decoder for decoding the received ultra-high definition broadcasting contents; and a reproduction unit for reproducing the decoded ultra-high definition broadcasting contents.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of transmitting and receiving a signal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method of transmitting a signal comprising the steps of: encoding ultra high definition (UHD) video data; encoding signaling information containing identification information of UHD service on the basis of the encoded UHD video data; and transmitting the encoded UHD video data in-band (IB) and transmitting the encoded signaling information containing identification information of UHD service out-of-band (OOB).

The present invention relates to an apparatus for transreceiving signals and a method for transreceiving signals. One embodiment of the present invention provides a method for transmitting signals comprising the steps of: encoding video data; generating signaling information including video configuration metadata information, which can output the encoded video data as a plurality of video sampling formats; and multiplexing the encoded video data and the signaling information and then transmitting the multiplexed video data and the signaling information.
