At least some of the analytical information is presented as a dashboard display comprising a plurality of distinct panels of related information on a communicatively coupled display device.

摘要: The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework that provides mechanisms for performing cost-effective, accurate and scalable detection and recognition of fine-grained events. The framework functions by training high precision and high recall object/optical character recognition (OCR) models and aligning video frames to text commentaries of the videos (e.g., licensed play-by-play). The disclosed framework operates as a single algorithm that performs multimodal alignments between events/actions within videos and their prescribed text. Thus, the disclosed framework is able to scale to fine-grained action categories across different venues by delving into the key frames and key aspects of a video to identify particular actions performed by particular actors, thereby providing the novelty of fine-granted action detection and recognition.

A method may include receiving, by a media player, a first media manifest including tags indicative of first temporal segments for media content; identifying, using a parser, a first tag indicative of a first temporal segment; identifying, using the parser, a second tag indicative of a second temporal segment; parsing, using the parser, the first tag; based on at least one of the parsing or a user preference indicative of a starting location for playback of first media content of the media content or a preferred bandwidth, refraining from parsing the second tag; retrieving, by the at least one processor, based on a time associated with the first temporal segment, an address of the first video content; and presenting, by the at least one processor, the first media content based on the address.

摘要: Methods and systems for managing an interruption of content presentation on a computing device are provided. In one example, an interruption of presentation of a segment of content on a computing device is detected. An estimated recovery time is determined for the interruption. Based at least in part on the estimated recovery time, a determination is made as to whether to skip the segment or wait to resume presentation of the video segment after the interruption subsides. Based on a result of the determining whether to skip or wait, an instruction to wait or an instruction to skip the segment is generated for presentation via the computing device.

The method may allow a user to download portions of a media asset in different versions to download a maximum portion of the media asset before loss of network connectivity. Certain versions of media assets may be downloaded more quickly than other versions of media assets. The method may also allow a user to view partially downloaded media assets without network connectivity. The method may also replace portions of media assets downloaded in a first version with portions of the media assets in a second version once network connectivity is restored.

The system generates the customized content streams such that the initial and terminating portions of the streams are shared between each of the content streams. In this regard, the customized content streams that have both customized portions and shared portions to provide a standardized yet adaptive viewing experience for all users.

摘要: An example device for processing media data is configured to parse a bitstream including the media data, the bitstream being formatted according to Common Media Application Format (CMAF), detect, during the parsing, a file type (FTYP) value for a CMAF track file of the bitstream, determine that a CMAF header of the CMAF track file starts with the FTYP value, and process one or more CMAF fragments following the CMAF header of the CMAF track file. The device may additionally be configured to detect one or more segment type (STYP) values in the bitstream, determine that each of the one or more STYP values corresponds to a start of a respective one of the CMAF fragments, and process each of the CMAF fragments starting from the corresponding STYP value.
