摘要： A process for the preparation of branched thermoplastic resins comprising: heating a mixture of a free radical initiator, at least one first free radical reactive monomer, at least one free radical reactive branching agent compound, and at least one stable free radical agent, to produce a linear or unbranched polymer product with a free radical initator fragment at one end and a covalently bonded stable free radical agent at the other end of the polymerized chain of monomers; and irradiating the unbranched polymer product in the presence of a reactive compound selected from the group consisting of a free radical reactive monomer, a branching agent compound, and mixtures thereof to form a branched polymeric product.

摘要： A polymerization process comprising: heating a mixture comprised of a free radical initiator, a stable free radical agent, at least one polymerizable monomer compound, and optionally a solvent, to form a polymer with a high monomer to polymer conversion and a narrow polydispersity, wherein said polymer is comprised of a covalently bound free radical initiator fragment at one end and a covalently bound stable free radical compound at the other end of the polymer, and wherein said stable free radical agent has high thermal, acidic, and photochemical stability.

摘要： A custom color toner production system includes a toner delivery system, a cartridge sealing system, a mixing system, and a packaging system. The toner delivery system includes selectively engageable fluid delivery lines for delivering toner of particular color to a cartridge as need for producing a custom color toner in response to an electronically submitted user request. Cartridge containing the unmixed delivered toner may be sealed by a sealing system, and blended using a resonant mixer to produce a custom color toner. The cartridge containing the mixed custom color toner may be packaged using a packaging system.

摘要： A toner particle having a core and a shell, and a method for making the toner particle. The core includes a crystalline resin and the shell includes an amorphous resin. The shell is substantially to completely free of the crystalline resin. The toner particle permits inclusion of greater amounts of crystalline resin materials in the core, thereby lowering the minimum fusing temperature of the toner formed from the particles.
