    Abstract: A multi-pole circuit breaker assembly for interrupting AC power to a load upon the detection of an earth leakage fault or an overcurrent condition includes a pair of circuit breaker units mounted adjacent to an earth leakage module. The earth leakage module includes an electronic circuit that senses a current imbalance between the power line lead and the neutral line lead using a differential transformer. In response to a current imbalance greater than a predetermined value, the electronic circuit periodically energizes a switching circuit that provides power across a solenoid. The solenoid, when actuated, engages a common trip mechanism to open concurrently the contacts of the circuit breakers units. The common trip mechanism includes an elongated bar that extends through the casing of the earth leakage module and the circuit breaker units. The elongated bar engages a U-shaped trip member pivotally disposed in each circuit breaker. Each trip member has a depending member extending from a leg that trips its respective circuit breaker unit when pivoted upwardly by the solenoid.

    Abstract: A test cord including a plug suitable for testing individual subscriber circuits, terminals of which appear on a protector block mounted on a telephone main frame. The cord includes a terminal plug adapted to engage the exposed end of a telephone circuit protector module to enter recesses therein to provide electrical conductivity therebetween.     Abstract: A latching relay includes a first coil, a second coil and a common plunger operatively connected between the first and second coils such that activation of the first coil moves the plunger to a first position and activation of the second coil moves the plunger to a second position. The latching relay also includes a limit switch having a common contact and first and second coil contacts. A position of the common contact is alternately switched between electrical connection to either the first or second coil contact based on a position of the plunger. The first and second coil contacts are electrically connected to the first and second coils, respectively such that when electrical power is applied to the common contact, the electrical power is alternately applied to either the first coil or the second coil depending on the position of the common contact.
