摘要: The present invention provides a method and system for handoff in a wireless communication network. In one embodiment, a common handoff encryption key is generated by an authentication server and transmitted to a first access point and a second access point. The first access point transmits the handoff encryption key to a wireless terminal. The wireless terminal encrypts output data with the handoff encryption key. When the wireless terminal is associated with the second access point, the second access point decrypts data from the wireless terminal with the handoff encryption key. In a second embodiment, a handoff WEP key generation secret parameter is provided to a first and a second access point. Both access points generate a handoff WEP key as a function of the handoff WEP key generation secret parameter and an address of a wireless terminal. The first access point transmits the handoff WEP key to the wireless terminal. The second access point communicates data packets encrypted with the handoff WEP key with the wireless terminal.

摘要: Ultra-oriented, crystalline synthetic filaments with a combination of high tenacity, high dimensional stability, high modulus, and a high fraction of taut-tie molecular phase are produced by extruding a fiber-forming synthetic polymer melt into a liquid isothermal bath, withdrawing the filaments from the bath and then post-treating them at a very low draw ratio. The bath is preferably maintained at a temperature of at least 30.degree. C. above the glass transition temperature of the polymer to enhance the orientation and promote the formation of stable extended chains. Polymer filaments so produced are characterized in that they have ultra-high birefringence, high tenacity and modulus, a high dimensional stability, and a high fraction of taut-tie molecular phase.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a method for transmission/reception contention resolution in D2D communication is provided. The method includes detecting, at a device-to-device (D2D) node, re-usable cellular resources based on the scheduling information. The method also includes receiving related information from another D2D node identifying the re-usable cellular resources for the another D2D node, and identifying common and different re-usable cellular resources between the D2D node and the another D2D node. The method also includes receiving updated scheduling information, and determining, from the detected re-usable cellular resources, whether there is a simultaneous transmission/reception contention. When it is determined that there is a simultaneous transmission/reception contention, the method includes resolving the contention by dynamically selecting a direction of communication based on a preconfigured decision criteria, wherein the direction of communication is one of transmission or reception.
