Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described for user equipment (UE) indication of uplink scheduling information to a base station. The uplink scheduling information may provide information on a periodic traffic pattern, such as for periodic extended reality (XR) data flows. The uplink scheduling information may provide uplink assistance information (UAI) to a base station to assist the base station with providing uplink resources that efficiently serve an XR session. The UAI may indicate one or more of a periodicity of uplink traffic, an offset between uplink traffic and a packet arrival, a data size for uplink traffic for each time period associated with the XR session, a request to enable uplink transmission skipping, or any combinations thereof. A base station may provide one or more dynamic grants, configured grants, or proactive grants to a UE based on the uplink scheduling information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling indicating a set of resources of a sidelink channel available for sidelink communication with a second UE. The first UE may receive a sidelink preemption indication indicating that at least a first resource from the set of resources is preempted. The first UE may communicate a sidelink transmission over the sidelink channel with the second UE based on the sidelink preemption indication. In some cases, the first UE may determine whether the SPI satisfies one or more thresholds and the first UE may communicate the sidelink transmission, or refrain from communicating the sidelink transmission, based on determining whether the SPI satisfies the one or more thresholds.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a downlink control information (DCI) message scheduling a first message and including an indication that the first message is scheduled for full-duplex operation with a second message. The indication may be a DCI field configured for indicating full-duplexing, or the DCI field may be an existing DCI field configured to also indicate full-duplexing. The UE may identify a set of parameters associated with the full-duplex operation of the first message based on receiving the DCI message that includes the indication, and the UE may communicate the first message using the set of parameters associated with the full-duplex operation and based on the indication included in the DCI message.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to resource partitioning for sidelink are provided. A first user equipment (UE) transmits, to a second UE, a time-division duplexing (TDD) configuration indicating a first set of resources time-multiplexed with a second set of resources in a sidelink resource pool, wherein the first set of resources is associated with a first link, and wherein the second set of resources is associated with a second link different from the first link. The first UE receives from the second UE over the first link, a first communication signal in a resource of the first set of resources. The first UE transmits, to the second UE over the second link, a second communication signal using a resource of the second set of resources.

The UE may determine, based on the downlink configuration, the grant, or both, an uplink configuration including a set of resources for transmitting the uplink transmissions at a set of uplink transmission occasions. In some aspects, the set of uplink transmission occasions may be arranged according to a non-uniform spacing pattern in a time domain. The UE may transmit, to a base station, one or more uplink transmissions based on the uplink configuration.

Abstract: An acknowledgment (ACK)/negative-ACK (NACK)-based relaying scheme for uplink coverage improvement is provided. The relay station communicates, with the destination device, a second feedback transmission associated with the first data transmission when the destination device does not successfully receive the first data transmission. The relay station communicates, with the destination device, a second data transmission associated with the second feedback transmission, in which the second data transmission comprises at least a portion of the first data transmission.

Abstract: One apparatus may be configured to transmit a set of reference signals on shared resources of a first communication link and a second communication link, the set of reference signals indicating an interference channel on the shared resources. The apparatus may further communicate data or control information on the first communication link following transmission of the set of reference signals. Another apparatus may be configured to detect a signal on shared resources of a first communication link and a second communication link, the signal being indicating an interference channel on the shared resources. The other apparatus may further perform channel estimation on the interference channel based on detecting the signal. The other apparatus may further communicate data or control information on the first communication link based on the channel estimation on the interference channel.
