    Abstract: A screen saver controller includes a load calculator for generating load data of each of a plurality of panel blocks included in a display panel based on input image data, a life calculator for generating life data of each of the panel blocks based on a deterioration stress value accumulated in the display panel, a first logic circuit for receiving the load data and the life data, and generating operation data based on the load data and the life data and a second logic circuit for receiving the input image data and the operation data, and generating screen saver data based on the input image data and the operation data. The screen saver controller adjusts a luminance of the display panel based on the screen saver data when operating in a screen saver mode for performing a screen saver operation.

    Abstract: A display device includes blocks each including two or more pixels commonly coupled to a first power line, and a first power voltage controller for determining a margin value of a first power voltage supplied to the first power line, based on load values of the blocks. The first power voltage controller determines the load values based on grayscale values of the pixels included in each of the blocks. The magnitude of the first power voltage is determined to become smaller as the margin value becomes larger. The margin value includes a first margin value. The first power voltage controller determines the first margin value according to a degree of distribution of load values of first blocks arranged in a first direction among the blocks.

    Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels grouped into blocks divided into block rows extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, wherein each block includes two or more pixels connected to a first power source line, and each pixel is assigned with a grayscale value in a range of grayscale values that is divided into a plurality of grayscale sections; and a first power source voltage adjuster selecting a reference block row, and determining a magnitude of a first power source voltage supplied to the first power source line based on a number of blocks in the reference block row having a grayscale section that is same as a maximum grayscale section of the reference block row. The maximum grayscale section corresponds to a grayscale section that includes a largest grayscale value having a grayscale value ratio greater than a minimum ratio.

    Abstract: A display device includes a sensor, a timing controller, and a data driver. The sensor senses characteristic values of an element included in a pixel of the display device using input initialization and data voltages in a sensing period of one frame period. The timing controller calculates compensation data voltage using the characteristic values, and calculate adjusted initialization and data voltages in the sensing period by using the compensation data voltage. The data driver output the adjusted initialization and data voltages to the pixel during the sensing period in response to a control signal output from the timing controller.

    Abstract: A clock data recovery circuit includes a phase-locked loop circuit generating a multi-phase clock signal based on input data, the phase-locked loop circuit including a multi-rate phase detector being operable at an initial rate among a plurality of rates in an initial period; a lock detector generating a lock-enable signal by detecting a lock state of the phase-locked loop circuit; a dead zone calibration circuit determining an operational rate corresponding to a data rate of the input data among the plurality of rates in response to the lock-enable signal; and a digital block controlling the multi-rate phase detector to operate at the operational rate, and generating a calibration-enable signal. The dead zone calibration circuit determines whether the multi-phase clock signal is locked within a dead zone in response to the calibration-enable signal, and changes a phase of the multi-phase clock signal based on the multi-phase clock signal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a gain provider for gradually decreasing a gain value from a first time when a first period elapses from a time at which an enable signal is generated, and a plurality of pixels for receiving data voltages determined by the gain value and the input grayscale values. The gain provider determines a length of the first period according to a first load value based on the input grayscale values at the time at which the enable signal is generated.
