Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for optimizing the power consumption of a terminal in a mobile communication system. The method for optimizing power consumption of a terminal in a mobile communication system comprises: a determination step of determining whether there is a need for changing a configuration for a discontinuous reception operation of the terminal; and a transmission step of transmitting, to a base station, a request message for a change in the discontinuous reception operation, if it is determined that the change is needed.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving references signals. A method includes transmitting a first parameter and a second parameter, which are cell specific parameters; transmitting a third parameter, which is a UE specific parameter; transmitting a CSI; and receiving at least one of a first reference signal, which is generated based on the CSI, for a PUSCH and a second reference signal for a PUCCH. The first reference signal is generated by not applying sequence hopping and group sequence hopping, regardless of values of the first parameter and the second parameter, if the third parameter indicates that the sequence hopping and the group sequence hopping are disabled. The second reference signal is generated by applying the group sequence hopping, if the first parameter indicates that the group sequence hopping is enabled and the third parameter indicates that the sequence hopping and the group sequence hopping are disabled.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a sounding reference signal transmission method which is efficient in an uplink wireless telecommunications system using a multiple antenna technique and sounding reference signal hopping. A terminal is equipped with a plurality of antennas, and a base station receives the sounding reference signal transmitted from these antennas and estimates the uplink channel state of each antenna. The sounding reference signal performs frequency hopping so that the base station determines the channel condition for the entire bandwidth to which data is transmitted in the uplink system. In this environment, the sounding reference signal is transmitted through an antenna pattern through the entire data transmission bandwidth of the uplink system for each antenna of the terminal without additional overhead.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for configuring a control channel in a communication system, according to the present invention, allocate resources of different sizes according to a distributed transmission mode and a localized transmission mode and apply different antenna transmission techniques, to a control channel on the basis of frequency division. In addition, the present invention relates to a method by which a terminal estimates a channel irrespective of the transmission mode. According to the present invention, a control channel transmitted to different terminals from a base station can be efficiently multiplexed and the control channel be received faster by reducing the complexity of the terminal.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving references signals. A method includes receiving a first parameter, which is a cell specific parameter; receiving a second parameter, which is a UE specific parameter; receiving a cyclic shift indicator (CSI) indicating a cyclic shift for a sequence and an orthogonal covering code; acquiring the reference signal for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), based on the CSI and the second parameter; and transmitting the reference signal on the PUSCH. Group sequence hopping is not applied to acquire the reference signal, if the first parameter indicates that the group sequence hopping is enabled and the second parameter indicates that the group sequence hopping is disabled. The first parameter includes a group hopping enabled parameter, and the group sequence hopping includes hopping among different groups.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting an uplink channel in a wireless communication system. The method for transmitting an uplink channel of a terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving a downlink control message; extracting the starting point of a dynamic physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource region from the downlink control message; and transmitting an uplink channel according to the starting point of the extracted dynamic PUCCH resource region. An embodiment of the invention exhibits effects in reducing the signaling overhead, and preventing the terminal from unnecessarily consuming power, when transmitting the uplink channel in a CoMP system.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a technique for radio link monitoring in a wireless communication system, and to operation procedures of the base station and user equipment and a method for radio link quality evaluation on the basis of the technique. In the method, the user equipment divides the downlink channel bandwidth into multiple frequency ranges, measures channel states for each frequency range, and evaluates the radio link quality based on channel state measurement results. Thereafter, the user equipment sends frequency range quality information to the base station, which may then utilize the same for downlink resource allocation. Hence, it is possible to solve the problem of the existing scheme wherein the user equipment enters the physical layer problem detection state or the radio link failure state although a frequency range usable for service provisioning is present within the downlink channel bandwidth.
