    Abstract: A first reading unit that reads a pattern or an image formed on a sheet by a print unit for recognizing a print unit state, a second reading unit that reads a cut mark formed on the sheet on a downstream thereof, a cutter that cuts the sheet on a downstream thereof, and a reverse unit that reverses the sheet fed to the print unit again are provided. In duplex printing, the sheet where images are sequentially printed on a first surface is led to the reverse unit, the front and rear faces are reversed, and the sheet is fed to the print unit again. The sheet where images and cut marks are sequentially printed on a second surface is cut by the cutter for each piece and discharged. The sheet is cut on the basis of a reading of the cut mark by the second reading unit.

    Abstract: In an electric shedding control apparatus, shedding patterns are stored in memories in such a manner that the shedding patterns are compressed and the time required to read the shedding patterns is shortened. An electric shedding apparatus is provided for driving each of a plurality of heddle frames independently and in synchronization with a rotation of a main shaft of a loom. Constituents of the shedding operations are set in advance, and the constituents are selected for each shedding step. Also, in order to drive the heddle frame, shedding amount instruction for the heddle frame is output in accordance with the rotation of the loom main shaft based on a shedding curve which includes the selected constituents.

    Abstract: When an overcurrent detection section detects an overcurrent, a control circuit performs ON-OFF control for switching devices each switchable between a forward direction and a reverse direction, in a mode in which a current having flowed is reduced, such that when the mode is a mode in which a current is passed through any of diodes, a switching device connected in parallel with the current-passed diode is turned ON. Thus, even when an overcurrent occurs, the current flowing in the diode connected in parallel with the switching device is reduced, and the diode is protected from being deteriorated or broken by the overcurrent.

    Abstract: An electric motor driving apparatus having a failure detection circuit includes: a bridge circuit driving an electric motor; a PWM control circuit generating voltage instruction for driving the electric motor; a PWM signal generation circuit generating a PWM signal; a DC current detection circuit detecting DC current of the bridge circuit; a phase current calculation circuit calculating output phase current of the bridge circuit, based on the DC current and PWM signal; and a failure detection circuit detecting failure of the DC current detection circuit. The failure detection circuit determines failure of the DC current detection circuit from the DC current detected values in a zero voltage period in which the high-potential-side arms of the bridge circuit are all ON and in a zero voltage period in which the low-potential-side arms are all ON.
