Abstract:
A feedthrough, for example through a part of a housing, such as a battery housing, is, for example, made of a metal, such as a light alloy, for example aluminum, an aluminum alloy, AlSiC, magnesium, a magnesium alloy, titanium, a titanium alloy, steel, stainless steel or high-grade steel. The housing part has at least one opening through which at least one conductor having a cross-section is guided in a glass or glass ceramic material. The conductor has at least two sections, a first section having a first, substantially round, for example a circular, cross section having a diameter in the region of the feedthrough through the glass or glass ceramic material, and a second section having a second, substantially non-round, for example a substantially rectangular cross-section, and the conductor is formed in one piece.
Abstract:
A component has a component thickness and at least one feedthrough opening, wherein a conductor, such as a substantially pin-shaped conductor, is inserted through the feedthrough opening in a glass or glass ceramic material having a glass material outside dimension and a glazed length, wherein the component has a reinforcement in the region of the feedthrough opening with a component feedthrough opening thickness, wherein the component feedthrough opening thickness is greater than the component thickness and wherein the reinforcement has a reinforcement material outside dimension.
Abstract:
A ring-shaped or plate-like element, in particular for a metal-sealing material-feedthrough, for example for devices which are subjected to high pressures, such as igniters for airbags or belt tensioning devices, includes a feedthrough opening, whereby the feedthrough opening is located substantially in the center of the ring-shaped or plate-like element and whereby the ring-shaped or plate-like element has a thickness. The ring-shaped or plate-like element has a relief region in the area of the feedthrough opening. Further, the ring-shaped or plate-like element in the relief region has at least one thickness which is reduced by the height of the relief region and which is selected so that the feedthrough opening can be punched out of the ring-shaped or plate like element having the reducing thickness.
Abstract:
A feed-through component for a conductor feed-through which passes through a part of a housing, for example a battery housing, is embedded in a glass or glass ceramic material and has at least one conductor, for example an essentially pin-shaped conductor, and a head part. The surface, in particular the cross-sectional surface, of the head part is greater than the surface, in particular the cross-sectional surface, of the conductor, for example of the essentially pin-shaped conductor. The head part is embodied such that is can be joined to an electrode-connecting component, for example an electrode-connecting part, which may be made of copper, a copper alloy CuSiC, an aluminum alloy AlSiC or aluminum, with a mechanically stable and non-detachable connection.
Abstract:
A feed-through, in particular a feed-through which passes through a housing component of a housing, for example a battery housing, such as a battery cell housing. The housing component includes at least one opening through which at least one conductor, for example an essentially pin-shaped conductor, is guided. The pin-shaped conductor is at least partially surrounded by an insulator, for example made of a glass or a glass ceramic material. The at least one conductor connection, for example of the essentially pin-shaped conductor and/or of the housing component with the insulator, which is a glass or a glass ceramic material, is formed, the connection being an ultrasonic welding.
