Abstract: A reduction in concentration due to a change in an emotion is inhibited. A change in an emotion of the human is suitably reduced. Part (in particular, an eye or an eye and its vicinity) or the whole of a user's face is detected, a feature of the user's face is extracted from data on the detected part or whole of the face, and an emotion of the user is estimated from the extracted feature of the face. In the case where the estimated emotion is an emotion that might reduce concentration, for example, a stimulus is applied to the sense of sight, the sense of hearing, the sense of touch, the sense of smell, or the like of the user to recover the concentration of the user.

Abstract: A display device having high light-extraction efficiency is provided. A low-power display device is provided. In a red or green pixel included in the display device, a light-emitting element, an optically functional layer, and a wavelength-conversion layer are stacked in this order. The light-emitting element emits blue light, the optically functional layer transmits the blue light and reflects red and green light, and the wavelength-conversion layer converts the blue light into red or green light. The blue light emitted by the light-emitting element passes through the optically functional layer and enters the wavelength-conversion layer, and red or green light is emitted to the outside. The red or green light emitted from the wavelength-conversion layer to the optically functional layer side is reflected by the optically functional layer and emitted to the outside, which improves light-extraction efficiency.

Abstract: A flexible device is manufactured at low temperatures. A second substrate is bonded to a first substrate by a first adhesive layer. A first insulating layer, a transistor, and a second insulating layer are formed over the second substrate. Then, the first substrate and the second substrate are separated from each other while being heated at a first temperature. The heat resistant temperatures of the first substrate, the second substrate, and the first adhesive layer are a second temperature, a third temperature, and a fourth temperature, respectively. Each of the first insulating layer, the second insulating layer, and the transistor is formed at a temperature higher than or equal to room temperature and lower than the fourth temperature. The third temperature is higher than the fourth temperature and lower than the second temperature. The first temperature is higher than the fourth temperature and lower than the third temperature.

The first portion is configured to display an image or includes at least one of an hour hand, a minute hand, and a second hand.

Abstract: A display device includes overlapping two display panels. The display panel on the upper side includes a first display region and a region that transmits visible light. The display panel on the lower side includes a second display region and a region that blocks visible light. The second display region overlaps with the region that transmits visible light. The region that blocks visible light overlaps with the first display region. The display panel on the lower side includes a third display region between the second display region and the region that blocks visible light. The gate signal and the source signal supplied to a first pixel in the third display region are the same as the gate signal and the source signal supplied to a second pixel in the second display region. The second pixel is closer to the first pixel than any other pixels included in the second display region.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a transmissive region and a reflective region. The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal element, a transistor, a scan line, a signal line, and an insulating layer. A semiconductor layer of the transistor includes a channel region and a low-resistance region. A channel region overlaps with a gate with a gate insulating layer provided therebetween. The low-resistance region includes a first portion in contact with a pixel electrode of the liquid crystal element and a second portion in contact with a side surface of an opening portion in the insulating layer. The first portion of the low-resistance region is positioned in the transmissive region or the reflective region. The reflective region includes a layer that reflects visible light. The layer that reflects visible light includes a portion positioned between the scan line or the signal line and a liquid crystal layer.
