    摘要: A vehicle control system which is capable of performing a quick decelerating operation in all vehicle speed regions and setting a direct region where power from an engine is transmitted through a mechanical transmission unit only in a hydro-mechanical transmission. The vehicle control system includes an engine and a hydro-mechanical transmission and is designed to set a tractive force-vehicle speed characteristic corresponding to the direct region where power transmission from the input shaft to the intermediate output shaft of the hydro-mechanical transmission is done by the mechanical transmission unit alone in a specified engine speed region. An engine control system controls the engine and a decelerator outputs a deceleration command according to an operating amount thereof. The engine control system controls the engine to reduce engine output torque corresponding to a specified engine speed region in response to the deceleration command.

    摘要: A crawler track tension adjusting device is provided in which a driving unit having a closed structure carries out automatic tension adjustment in response to a control signal to create optimum tension on a crawler belt. The crawler track tension adjusting device includes a tension adjusting cylinder which is operable to control the tension and is actuated by a hydraulic pump that is driven by a motor. An electromagnetic direction selector valve is disposed in an oil pipeline for connecting the hydraulic pump to the tension adjusting cylinder, and a hydraulic sensor for detecting the operating condition of the tension adjusting cylinder is disposed in the hydraulic circuit in which the tension adjusting cylinder, the hydraulic pump and the selector valve are provided. The hydraulic sensor is connected to a controller to operate the hydraulic pump and the direction selector valve so as to control the tension adjusting cylinder.

    摘要: A bright, and contrasty reflective display can be performed without using polarizer films, and display switching can be performed fast. A ferroelectric liquid crystal is sandwiched between substrates, and electrodes are formed face to face with each other in a direction parallel to the substrates. The ferroelectric liquid crystal, when no electric field is applied to it, goes into a planer state in which a helical axis becomes perpendicular to or almost perpendicular to the substrates, selectively reflecting light of specific wavelengths in a visible region. A driving circuit applies an electric field between the electrodes in a direction perpendicular to or almost perpendicular to the helical axis of the ferroelectric liquid crystal in the planer state. When an electric field equal to or greater than a threshold value is applied, the ferroelectric liquid crystal changes from a planer state due to a low electric field to a homeotropic state in which a helical structure disappears, going into a transparent state, wherein, in the homeotropic state, a cyclic change of refractive index disappears and liquid crystal molecules are arranged in the direction of the electric field. The change in this case is performed fast because the ferroelectric liquid crystal has spontaneous polarization. The ferroelectric liquid crystal may be filled between a pair of transparent substrates each having a transparent electrode formed thereon to apply electric fields in a direction parallel to or almost parallel to the helical axes.

The fault detection history data are thus updated every time a fault (drop in engine oil pressure, overheating) is detected during the operation of the machine. Thus, when a fault (drop in engine oil pressure) is detected during the operation of the machine, it is determined on the basis of the history data whether or not to send to the monitoring station the sequential values of the operating parameters ((A) engine rotational speed, (B) lever operating position, (C) vehicle speed, (D) tractive force) from within a prescribed period of time (from 10 min. before to 5 min. after) around the point in time t0 at which the fault was detected. When it is determined that they should be sent, the type of detected fault (0001 (drop in engine oil pressure)), the values detected ((A) 2, (B) 3, (C) 3, (D) 2) at the time the fault was detected, as well as the sequential values of the operating parameters from within a prescribed period of time (from 10 min. before to 5 min. after) around the time the fault was detected are transmitted to the monitoring station.
