摘要: A self-propelled work vehicle is provided with work state estimation and associated control techniques. The work vehicle comprises ground engaging units, a work implement configured for controllably working terrain, and various onboard sensors. A controller is functionally linked to at least the one or more onboard sensors and configured to ascertain a first parameter or operation of the work vehicle, determine a work state of the work vehicle, based at least in part on respective input signals from one or more onboard sensors, and generate a control signal for controlling at least a second parameter or operation of the work vehicle, responsive to the ascertained first parameter or operation and the determined work state. The control signals may be provided for proactive adjustments to engine speed, movements of the work implement, movements of the work vehicle itself, etc.

摘要: An example calibration system may include a tractor and a calibration unit. The tractor may include a first sensor and a second sensor. The calibration unit may include a processing unit and a non-transitory computer-readable medium containing instructions to direct the processing unit to: (1) determine a first estimate for a tractor parameter based upon signals received from the first sensor; (2) determine a second estimate for the tractor parameter based upon signals received from the second sensor; (3) determine a third estimate for the tractor parameter based upon a combination of the first estimate and the second estimate; (4) determine a tractor parameter correction based upon the second estimate and the third estimate; and (4) apply the tractor parameter correction to the second sensor to control positioning of the tractor.

摘要: The use of a self-driving vehicle to automatically find manholes, and for each remove the manhole cover from the manhole, and thereafter put the manhole cover back in position on the manhole. In some embodiments, while the manhole cover is removed, the self-driving vehicle is used to automatically place a tool above or within the manhole. Accordingly, a self-driving vehicle can automatically inspect, repair, or maintain manholes that are positioned in roadways. The data can then automatically be gathered without human intervention.

摘要: A method is provided for predicting a risk for rollover of a working machine for load transportation. The method includes: obtaining ground topographic data of a geographical area located close to the working machine from a ground topographic detection system; extracting a ground gradient from the ground topographic data; obtaining weight information of the load being currently transported by means of an on-board load weighting system or by receiving load information originating from the device that loaded the load being currently transported; determining a current maximal allowed ground gradient for the working machine based on the weight information; and predicting a risk for working machine rollover if the working machine approaches a geographical area including a ground gradient exceeding or being close to the current maximal allowed ground gradient for the working machine.

摘要: A machine may include an engine, a traction device, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) connecting the engine to the traction device, an operator input device outputting engine output command signals input by an operator, an engine speed sensor monitoring an engine output speed, and an electronic control module (ECM). The ECM controls a machine output of the machine by executing a transmission output control routine using transmission output parameters as feedback when transmission output parameter sensor signals are reliable. The ECM controls the machine output by executing a target engine speed control routine using an engine output speed sensor signals as feedback when the transmission output parameter sensor signals are nor reliable. In the target engine speed control routine, the ECM determines a CVT transmission ratio that will cause the CVT to apply a load to the engine that will cause the engine to run at the target engine speed.

A hydraulic pump is driven by a diesel engine that limits maximum output torque in a low revolution speed region lower than a high revolution speed region including a rated revolution speed in such a manner that the maximum output torque has a characteristic of intermediate torque lower than torque of a maximum output horsepower point at the rated revolution speed, and a hydraulic actuator is driven by hydraulic fluid delivered from the hydraulic pump.
