摘要: To set access limitation, which limits access to a remote volume, to each host computer separately without registering in advance information on which volume is accessible to which host computer. In the storage system, the storage system is coupled to other storage systems in multiple stages, the uppermost stage storage system is coupled to the host computer, the volume constitutes a remote copy pair with a volume in the lower stage storage system and/or a remote copy pair with a volume in the upper stage storage system, and upon receiving a command to operate the volume, a control unit refers to pair information stored in a memory to judge whether information of the lower stage volume paired with the volume in the storage system that has this control unit is added to the received command.

摘要: An antenna device forms a discone antenna and comprises a pole-shaped base member 10a composed of dielectric material. The pole-shaped base member 10a has a cone-shaped inner space formed therein. In an inside surface of the pole-shaped base member 10a, a first antenna element 11 is formed by patterning a metal conductor layer. Further, on a plain surface facing the outside of the pole-shaped base member 10a, a second antenna element 12 is formed also by circularly patterning a metal conductor layer at the side of a top of the first antenna element 11 with a predetermined space being kept between the top of the first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12. The first antenna element 11 and the second antenna element 12 are located with respective rotation central axes thereof being corresponding with each other.

摘要: A spring given elasticity by way of elastic portions formed between slits which are provided on a base material of, e.g. solid cylindrical shape, cylindrical pipe shape, etc. The slits are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the base material at different phase angles. They are arranged along the length of the material and parallel to each other. The elastic portions are disposed at different pitches along the length so that some of them have different elasticity from the others. The elasticity between some portions and the others may be varied by way of changing an inner diameter of a through hole formed in the spring. Thereby the spring has non-linear elasticity characteristics. The spring may have a through hole and a line of slit spirally extending about the axis and communicating with the through hole. A line of elastic portion is defined by the slit and also extends spirally about the axis of the spring. The width of the elastic portion is changed along the axis of the spring.

摘要: This storage system modifies the migration plan in accordance with the state of the migration destination when a plurality of volumes are migrated all at once. Migration-source volumes are migrated collectively to volumes inside the migration-destination storage apparatus. The user can make settings related to migration-source volumes and migration-destination volumes in a migration plan, and can establish a mid-process control plan for modifying the migration plan in the middle of processing. If a failure occurs in the migration-destination storage apparatus subsequent to the commencement of data migration processing, a processing method controller either cancels or temporarily halts the data migration processing, or changes the migration destination, on the basis of the mid-process control plan. When changing the migration destination, a previously selected alternate storage apparatus is selected as the new migration-destination storage apparatus. When a failure occurs in the alternate storage apparatus, yet another alternate storage apparatus is selected.
