摘要: A photographing operation control device comprises a buffer memory in which image data is temporarily stored. In a blank photographing mode, when a release switch is turned ON, image data obtained through a photographing optical system is stored in the buffer memory. In the blank photographing mode, the image data stored in the buffer memory is not recorded in a PC card. In a normal photographing mode, when the release switch is turned ON, the image data is stored in the buffer memory and then transmitted to the PC card, in which the image data is recorded.

摘要: A virtual surround decoder apparatus includes a matrix surround decoder which generates multi-channel source signals from 2-channel input source signals, a virtual surround decoder which generates the 2-channel virtual surround signals from the multi-channel source signals, and a level correcting unit which corrects the levels of the virtual surround signals. The levels of the virtual surround signals outputted from the virtual surround decoder are corrected by the level correcting unit. Thereby, when an attenuation process is executed in the matrix surround decoder, the levels of the virtual surround signals can be corrected in order to offset the attenuation amount, and S/N of a reproduction sound can be improved.

摘要: A thick-film sheet member producing method including: (a) a support-body preparing step of preparing a support body having a film formation surface provided by a particle layer constituted by high-melting-point particles which are held together with a resin and which have a melting point higher than a predetermined temperature; (b) a paste-film forming step of forming a paste film on the film formation surface, by applying a paste onto the film formation surface; and (c) a firing step of subjecting the support body on which the paste film has been formed, to a heat treatment effected at the predetermined temperature, so as to burn the resin included in the particle layer, whereby the high-melting-point particles become unbound from each other in absence of the resin that has been burned. The paste film is sintered in the firing step, whereby a thick film is formed of the sintered paste film.

摘要: There is provided a radio apparatus usable in a frequency band of use comprising a feeder circuit, a first antenna element and a second antenna element. The first antenna element having a first end connected to the feeder circuit and a grounded second end includes a forward path and a backward path short-circuiting to each other at a shorting bridge, and is a half wavelength long of a first frequency in the band of use. The distance between the first end and the second end is no greater than one-tenth wavelength of the first frequency. The second antenna element begins with the first end, shares a part of the forward path with the first antenna element, diverges from the forward path at a diverging point before the shorting bridge, comes to an open end and is one-fourth wavelength long of a second frequency in the band of use.

摘要: A digital single-lens reflex camera includes a lens unit and a camera body. The lens unit has a photographing lens and an identification data memory for storing identification data to identify the photographing lens. The camera body, to which the lens unit is detachably attached, has an imaging device which receives light transmitted through the photographing lens to generate an image corresponding to a subject, a lens data memory for storing lens data that indicates the shading characteristics of the photographing lens, a lens data reader that reads the lens data based on the identification data, and an image corrector that corrects an error in the image of the subject caused by shading, based on the lens data read by the lens data reader and imaging device data that indicates the shading characteristics of the imaging device.
