摘要: An organic EL component (1) of the present invention includes a reflective anode (11), an organic light-emitting unit (12), a semitransparent cathode (13), and a color converting layer (15). The color converting layer (15) absorbs light emitted by the organic light-emitting unit (12) and having a first color, and emits converted light having a second color different from the first color. The semitransparent cathode (13) has a film thickness of not less than 20 nm and not greater than 30 nm, and efficiently reflects, toward a light extraction side, light emitted from the color converting layer (15).

摘要: Disclosed is a lighting device for use in the control of a plant disease, which has a light source capable of emitting light containing ultraviolet ray. The light source can emit both of UV-B having a wavelength component with a wavelength of about 280 to 340 um and UV-C in which a wavelength component with a wavelength of about 255 nm or less is cut off from wavelength components with wavelengths of about 100 to 280 nm to plant in a superimposed manner. The irradiation of a plant with the UV-C and the UV-B ensures to further inhibit the spore formation or the hypha growth of a filamentous fungus that causes a disease or the like, and to induce a resistance against a disease in the plant.

摘要: It is an object to increase advertising effectiveness by a synergetic effect between communication using a mobile phone or the like, and an electronic money system. The present embodiment is configured such that an advertisement is transmitted to a user's mobile phone via e-mail, and if the user purchases an article in values based on the advertisement, cashback is performed through the user's mobile phone in values. Thus, giving a feeling of value to the user makes it possible not only to increase advertising effectiveness but also to confirm the advertising effectiveness. If purchasing an article in values according to an advertising mail sent to a mobile phone 3, the user can receive the cashback from an electronic money server 2, thus allowing the user to obtain a feeling of value. Moreover, the electronic money server 2 can know whether or not the user has conducted purchasing activities in accordance with the advertising mail, allowing the advertising effectiveness to be measured and confirmed.

摘要: To reduce the occurrence of fragmentation when variable-bit-rate digital data is recorded on a continuous area of unit periods. When the amount of data in the buffer memory is larger than that for one unit period, the digital data in the buffer memory is read every unit period, and the read digital data is recorded as a continuous area (step S106). When the amount of data in the buffer memory is less than that for one unit period, the amount of data is estimated from the time corresponding to the amount of data less than that for the unit period and the length of the unit period (step S112). The digital data of the unit period is recorded on a recordable area in which the estimated amount of digital data can be recorded continuously (step S106).

摘要: A recording apparatus, a reproduction apparatus and a file management method are disclosed wherein, even if one of files recorded on a recording medium cannot be reproduced regularly, another file selected by the user can be reproduced normally. A file having a hierarchical structure formed from video data and audio data both in the form of compressed data together with information necessary for processing of the video data and audio data is produced and recorded on a predetermined recording medium. Upon production of the file, information regarding decoding of the video data and audio data is disposed collectively on the top side of the file.
