    摘要: A system, computer software and method for collecting, in addition to position data, additional positioning data in a user terminal served by a communication network. The method includes initiating, by generating a message within the user terminal, collection of the positioning data, where the positioning data includes information based on which a physical location of the user terminal is determined; measuring, by the user terminal, at least one parameter related to the physical location of the user terminal in response to the message; producing, within the user terminal, measurement reports that include the at least one parameter; selecting, within the user terminal, one or more measurement reports that were generated in response to the message generated by the user terminal; reporting the selected one or more measurement reports to an interface within the user terminal; and transmitting, from the interface, the reported one or more measurement reports to an external server or to the communication network.

    摘要: A radio base station and a method therein for scheduling an uplink radio resource to a first user equipment in a wireless communication system which employs CDMA are provided. The method comprises measuring an Interference Cancellation, IC, gain for each user equipment in a set of user equipments currently being served by the radio base station. The method further comprises determining a user constellation pertaining to information regarding the different user equipments in the set of user equipments and their respective bitrates; and updating a table of IC gain with the measured IC gain in bins corresponding to the determined user constellation. The method further comprises predicting a load based on at least the updated table, and scheduling the uplink radio resource to the first user equipment at least partly based on the predicted load.

The positioning node (110) receives (2040, 2080) the path loss related information. In some examples, the positioning node (110) associates (2110) the path loss related information to at least one cell area description, thereby creating a database of cell area descriptions and path loss related information associated thereto.

    摘要: A method for uplink channel estimation comprises providing of a channel state model in a channel estimator. An uplink radio signal of a present time slot is obtained in the channel estimator as well as a series of transmit power control commands issued for controlling a transmit power of the uplink radio signal. A delay between the time a transmit power control command is issued and the time that the transmit power control command is applied is estimated based on measurements of the particular received uplink radio signal. Channel states are adapted based on a transmit power control command compatible with the estimated delay. After the adaptation, channel states of the present time slot are estimated in the channel estimator, by tracking the demodulated uplink radio signal with the channel state model. A channel estimator performing such method is also described.

Positioning result accuracy, which can be important for emergency services, is improved by avoiding conversion between positioning result formats. Positioning results can be flexibly delivered, without concern for the particular radio access technology used in a communication network. The graphical format can be a vector graphics format, such as Scalable Vector Graphics and Wireless Vector Graphics. The text-encoded graphical format can be based on the extensible Markup Language, the positioning information in the graphical and/or text-encoded graphical format can be signaled by a messaging service.

    摘要: A method and nodes for enabling a client node such as a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or Location Services (LCS) client to set up a communication to a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communications network. The method enables the client node to provide solutions that enable location aware non-voice based emergency services by means of new signalling and a new architecture. A text message may be sent from the UE to the client node via a network node, wherein the text message includes UE location information and a client indicator. The UE location information and the client indicator are then utilized to determine a client node which is most appropriate for communication with the UE.

    摘要: The method and apparatus disclosed herein enable interference suppressed information (information about interference after interference suppression to be provided to the Radio Network Controller (RNC) and/or to surrounding Radio Base Stations (RBSs)), thereby providing better radio resource management for hot spots and/or allowing the RBSs to better understand their impact on surrounding cells. Generally, a network node in the wireless network signals interference suppressed information, e.g., an interference suppressed load or overload indicator, an interference suppressed neighbor cell interference, and/or an interference suppressed noise floor to a remote node in the wireless network to facilitate radio resource management. Further, a radio network controller in the wireless network may manage the interference in cells based on the interference suppressed information by generating an interference management instruction based on the interference suppressed information, and sending the interference management instruction to the radio base station to control one or more interference management settings, e.g., a power control setting, a load threshold, etc.
