摘要: There is disclosed an absorbent article including: a main body; and leakage preventing side walls extending in the longitudinal direction of the main body and lying opposite one another in the widthwise direction of the main body. Each leakage preventing side wall has a raised portion which is joined at a root end onto a liquid-receiving side surface of the main body and raised therefrom to have a free end positioned apart from the liquid-receiving side surface. Each leakage preventing side wall is provided with a first elastically shrinking member for applying an elastic shrinking force along a shrinking action line approaching the free end from the root end as it extends from the two longitudinal end positions of the raised portion of the leakage preventing side wall toward the longitudinally midway position of the leakage preventing side wall.

摘要: A method of producing an elongated member having a main body portion and terminal portions extending form ends thereof includes bending an elongated strip between circumferential faces of first forming rolls and second forming rolls having parallel central rotational axes. The circumferential faces of the first forming rolls include annular main body portion bending sections that form the main body portion in the strip and adjacent transition portion bending sections that form adjacent transition portions in the strip, thereby forming an intermediate stage elongated member. The transition portions have a cross-section that changes continuously from the annular cross-section of the main body portion to a different cross-section of the terminal portions. The intermediate elongated member is further formed by annular main body portion and transition portion bending sections of the second forming rolls corresponding to the respective bending sections of the first forming rolls in circumferential length but having a different axial dimension such that the intermediate stage elongated member approaches a shape of the fully-formed elongated member.

摘要: A molding member includes an elongate pre-shaped main body of initially constant cross-section, with upper and side portions to continuously extend along respective edges of an automobile windshield plate. The main body covers a gap between the windshield plate and an automobile body panel, and has a reference point which is more spaced from the outer surface of the windshield plate along the side portion than along the upper portion. A lip section of the main body can be maintained in contact with the outer surface of the windshield plate along the upper portion with a first angle, and spaced therefrom along the side portion with a second, less steep angle. A weir of a refined appearance, with desired cross-sectional area or height is defined along the side portion, between the windshield plate and the lip section, and prevents water on the windshield plate from flowing across the molding member.

摘要: A synthetic resin window, e.g. for automotive vehicles, includes a window body portion in the form of a sheet of transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin, and a frame portion formed of the same resin as the body portion and molded integrally therewith to extend along peripheral edge of the body portion. The outer surfaces of the body portion and the frame portion are covered by a hard coated layer and an opaque coated layer, respectively. The frame portion has a profile greater in thickness than the window body portion, while a hollow inner space is formed in the frame portion to extend continuously in the longitudinal direction of the frame portion.

摘要: An absorbent article package is individually packaged by folding a packaging sheet and an absorbent article in a state where the absorbent article is arranged on the packaging sheet. In a state where the individually-packaged absorbent article is opened, in the packaging sheet and the absorbent article, a first folding line based on which the absorbent article and the packaging sheet are folded towards the topsheet side, and a second folding line based on which the absorbent article and the packaging sheet are folded towards the backsheet side are formed adjacent to each other in the longitudinal direction.

摘要: While a protection sheet 60 is disposed on a non-skin-surface 20a of an absorbent article 1, part of the protection sheet 60 is folded back in such a manner as to reach a position where the part overlaps other part, which comes in contact with the non-skin surface 20a of the absorbent article 1. An end portion 60a of the protection sheet 60 is bonded, while being folded back, to the protection sheet 60 by means of an adhesive material 70. Edge portions 60b and 60c on both sides of the protection sheet 60 in a longitudinal direction of the protection sheet 60 are bonded together through thermal fusion bonding while being folded. A second adhesive region 71 coated with the adhesive material 70 is formed in a predetermined position which faces the non-skin-surface 20a of a backsheet 20. The second adhesive region 71 is formed at a position corresponding to a non-adhesive region 52.

摘要: A molded product includes an already-formed member and an injection molded portion. The already-formed member, which has a joining surface, is placed in an injection molding mold, and the joining surface and the injection molding mold define a molding cavity. The injection molding mold further defines a spill cavity that is in communication with the molding cavity. Liquid molding material is injected into the molding cavity. At least some of initial molding material which has initially reached the joining surface flows into the spill cavity due to injection pressure of subsequent molding material injected after injection of the initial molding material, and is replaced with the subsequent molding material, which has a temperature higher than that of the initial molding material and a viscosity lower than that of the initial molding material. When the liquid molding material hardens to form an injection molded portion joined to the joining surface of the first already-formed member, the first already-formed member and the injection molded portion are a joined molded product.
