摘要: A control-based method for processing media stream queues includes: a multimedia control entity processes the talk burst request queues corresponding to different media types when the conditions of triggering processing of different talk bursts are satisfied; and the multimedia control entity sends the assigned talk burst to the corresponding multimedia session terminal. The present invention also provides a corresponding apparatus. By processing the media stream queues, the present invention ensures talk bursts of multiple correlated media types to be assigned in a session.

摘要: The invention includes an enantioselective indicator-displacement assay useful to determine enantiomeric excess (ee) enantiomeric samples calorimetrically. Determination may be by inspection of color with the naked eye, spectrographic measurement, or mathematical calculation. Concentration may also be determined. The assay may involve two independent absorption measurements. On suitable group of enantiomeric molecules to be assayed include α-hydroxyacids. The inherent relationship between the absorbance of the indicator-displacement ensemble and the overall concentration and ee of the analyte is established through solution equilibria. The invention also includes use of the assay in drug screening and manufacturing, high throughput screening of catalysts and kits for use in conducting assays of the invention.

摘要: A method for enhancing an ultrasound image is provided, wherein the ultrasound image is segmented into a feature region and a non-feature region, while sufficiently utilizing features contained in the ultrasound image, in particular including some inconspicuous features. The enhanced image according to present invention is not susceptive of the image segmentation and avoid dependence of the enhancement effect on the segmentation template, so as not to produce an evident artificial boundary between the feature region and the non-feature region but to highlight some special information in the image and to remove or mitigate invalid information. Thus the enhanced ultrasound image is particularly suitable for the visual system of the human beings.

摘要: A method is provided for depositing a patterning material onto an optically transparent substrate by the use of a laser beam. A solid layer of a patterning material is placed adjacent to a receiving surface of the substrate. A laser beam is directed at an incident angle between 0 and 90° relative to the receiving surface. The laser beam is transmitted through the substrate and onto the solid layer to cause patterning material from the solid layer to deposit onto the receiving surface of the substrate.

摘要: A generic and dynamically-modifiable database schema has a tree structure that includes leaf nodes each defining a value of an attribute, branch container nodes each representing a different attribute and identifying those leaf nodes that define values of the container node's attribute, root nodes each representing a database record and identifying those leaf nodes in different container nodes that define values of an attribute of the root node's record, a root container node representing a database and identifying the root nodes that represent its records, attribute nodes each representing a different attribute and identifying the ii branch container node that represents that attribute, and a map container node identifying attribute nodes. Each leaf, root, and attribute node is a data structure that defines a name of an attribute, a value of the named attribute, and an identifier—an index or a dictionary—of zero or more nodes that define values of attributes of the named attribute's value. Attribute nodes lack the value. Each container node is a table, a dictionary, or an array. The schema further includes operations to insert, update, and delete records, and to add and delete attributes.
