    摘要: An apparatus for insertion of a key therein substantially prevents foreign matter from entering into a key insertion hole, and even if foreign matter does enter into the key insertion hole, discharges the foreign matter therefrom. A shutter is provided within the key insertion hole so as to be movable along a direction of insertion of a key. The shutter is always urged by a compression coil spring toward an opening of the insertion hole. In a state in which no key is inserted in the insertion hole, the shutter is urged by the compression coil spring and closes the insertion hole. As a result, foreign matter such as dust or the like can be prevented from entering into the insertion hole. Further, the shutter is provided with a reflecting surface, and when no key is inserted in the insertion hole, the reflecting surface reflects light from a light source so as to illuminate the opening of the insertion hole. Thus, even if a region surrounding the opening of the insertion hole is dark, the opening can be visually confirmed and the key can be easily inserted into the insertion hole.

    摘要: A carriage running control system includes a plurality of readable and writable memory media installed along a running track of carriages. Each carriage is capable of communicating information with the memory media. The running track includes special zones such as curved sections, branching sections, merging sections, and sections including stations. When a preceding carriage is present in one of such special zones, the memory medium disposed at the entry end of this zone supplies presence information to a succeeding carriage to prevent the latter from entering the zone. A detector is disposed at the exit end of each such zone for detecting departure of the carriages and resetting the memory medium at the entry end.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus comprises: at least one ink jet head to emit a recording ink; main and sub ink tanks to store the ink which should be supplied to the head; a negative pressure generating device to generate a negative pressure to supply the ink from the sub ink tank into the head under the suction action; a pressure sensor, provided in the ink passage, for detecting whether the recording ink substantially remains or not in the sub ink tank when the negative pressure generating device operates. In response to a pressure variation in the ink passage, the pressure sensor determines that no ink substantially remains in the sub ink tank when the pressure in the ink passage is higher than a preset value, thereby generating a detection signal to supplement a new ink into the tank to a control circuit. Therefore, the absence of ink in the tank can be certainly detected and the ink can be emitted in good conditions, so that the recording can be smoothly performed by a simple, cheap and small-sized apparatus.
