    摘要: To provide a temperature sensor probe that can conduct stable measurements, and the manufacturing method of the same. The temperature sensor probe related to the present invention provides: a fluorescent material that is a mixture of a fluorescent substance and a transparent material; a thermosensitive part having a concave part in which the fluorescent material is arranged; a waveguide route rod that propagates excitation light, which is irradiated on the fluorescent material, and fluorescent light, which is produced by the fluorescent substance; and a protective tube that covers the side surfaces of the waveguide route rod. Then, the fluorescent material is affixed to the tip of the waveguide route rod using the transparent material, and the waveguide route rod bites into the fluorescent material.

    摘要: If the length of a track-defining section from an air bearing surface varies due to tolerance during a head manufacturing process, the recording magnetic field changes, which involves the variation of the track width to be recorded on the medium. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the main magnetic pole of a magnetic head includes a track-defining section shaped in trapezoid and a magnetic flux guiding section formed in trapezoid, as viewed from above. The track-defining section is formed such that its width parallel to the air bearing surface (ABS) increases at the rate of 10 to 20% with respect to its height-direction length. The rate of 10 to 20% is a range in which the shape is properly controllable taking into account the variations resulting from the tolerance of the head manufacturing process.

    摘要: A magnetic head comprises: an induction type head for recording including a lower magnetic core, a writing gap film formed on the lower magnetic core, an upper magnetic core having a track portion and a portion spreading from the track portion, a plurality of insulating films laminated between the lower magnetic core and the upper magnetic core, and a coil formed between the plurality of insulating films. One of the plurality insulating films is an insulating film determining a zero throat level position. The track portion of the upper magnetic core is an air bearing surface. A magnetoresistance effect type head for reproducing includes a lower shielding film and a magnetoresistance effect sensor film is formed between the lower shielding film and the lower magnetic core. The position where the upper magnetic core spreads is located nearer to the air bearing surface than the tip end position arranged nearest to the air bearing surface among the tip end positions of the insulating films formed on the insulating film determining the zero throat level position. This can provide a magnetic head having good magnetic characteristics and improved accuracy in the width of a track on the air bearing surface.
