Abstract: A system and method for performing robust beam reporting is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first communication node includes: receiving at least one reference signal; determining at least one reference signal received power (RSRP) value associated with the at least one reference signal; generating a RSRP report in accordance with a predetermined format that groups the at least one RSRP value into N sets of RSRP values, each set containing at least one RSRP value, and associates each of the N sets of RSRP values with a respective one of N sets of resource groups, wherein each set of resource groups contains at least one resource group, and N is a positive integer; and transmitting the RSRP report.

Abstract: A transmitting and receiving point (TRP) divides data scheduled by one downlink control information (DCI) into N data parts, and transmits the N data parts to a receiving side, where N≥1. A value of N and whether the N data parts have a correlation in a case of N>1 are determined by at least one of following scheduling information: a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) field, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port indicator, a modulation and coding scheme (MCS), a redundancy version (RV) or a new data indicator (NDI). After receiving the N data parts sent by the TRP, the receiving side determines whether the N data parts have the correlation according to at least one of the TCI, the DMRS port indicator, the MCS, the RV, or the NDI.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a processing method and apparatus for recovering a beam. The method includes: generating a first type of signaling when K elements in a beam related parameter set trigger one or more thresholds; and sending the first type of signaling to a second communication node, where the beam related parameter set includes Q elements, where Q and K are both positive integers, and K is less than or equal to Q. Through the present disclosure, the technical problems that a beam cannot be recovered after beam link failure, and beam and channel state information reports or beam and channel state information report requests cannot be actively initiated in a millimeter wave communication system are solved.

The determination method includes: obtaining a parameter of a first type of reference signal by a first signaling; and determining a parameter of a second type of reference signal according to the obtained parameter of the first type of reference signal, and the first type of reference signal and/or the second type of reference signal include at least one of: reference signal for data demodulation, reference signal for phase noise compensation, reference signal for Doppler shift compensation, or extended reference signal for data demodulation.
